Thejact55- looking good, I like sound of Tobaccoo scent. Makes me wonder how wide the terp gamut is.

Ive been a lazy bastard when it comes to updating here, busy and just been side tracked alot this summer. sorry.
Anyways, i just harvested the two swazi A1 femlaes last night. Got a couple hundred seeds im guessing. Both plants has seeds on the large side. one plain brown seeds. One had the tiger striping.
Here are the last photos i shot. Nice resin on both, very sticky fingers from seed harvest. One had a tobacco scent by the end, with a slightly sweet note. It had the most resin, and better yeild. The other had a more common sweet tangy kinda fruity smell, although the other one had it beat, this plant was quite nice also, nothing to complain about.
I found these babies to be quite resiliant, drought tolerant (they got a little dry a couple times), good bug resistance compared to the previous runs recently in same tent. Very acceptable in the resin and smell department. I have more originals and now offspring to run again, these are a keeper strain for future runs and crosses. Thanks bootz, this story isnt over...

Also- i cut my leb at 48N early to mid august, and i would classify it as quite ripe when taken. No doubt or wonder if i took it too early
nice . how long did they take to flower please ? got any pics of the dried buds ?

I dont have any dried flower pics. They were all seeded up. They flowered for just over 6 weeks, when the seeds were done, they got chopped. I would think its probably a 12-14 week plant unseeded, bootz would know best though.
I think the terp range is decent. Males had some nice ranging stem rubs also. It is my understanding that oldbootz selected some for terps in his reproduction. I want to run the other 7 this winter for bud, and to show em off a little better.
First winter round though. Just put 10 k1 zamal in paper towels, need to run again after i only got 1 females and hermies last try. Didnt get any pure seed stock. (But the zamal x blueberry i did get are killing it in the greenhouse). Also put in 10 spice seeds, hawaiian indica x hawaiian sativa. Ill put in some papua new guinea later on, when it cools down a little and can turn on the 1000 watt.

Hi, yea Jact has got it correct they would go anywhere between 12 and 14 weeks if allowed to, checking for duration by inspection of the trichomes.

A few of them will at about week 12-13 start to push out a new wave of white pistils and its up to you if you'd want to harvest before this window or let them go till the new pistils are brown and the buds are bigger and aged for the second window.

sorry been away for a while. took a quick break, but been busy for the most part. some pics of recent projects

K1 zamal, non seeded for the most part. 3 females. no stable males, so crossed in some papua new guinea into this batch, earlier females than these, this was the last of my seeds, hoping to find a good male. no luck, but got some smoke from the venture.

15 to 20 week flower range. the one that I let go 18-20 weeks was the ticket. clear high, powerful, but not stoney. rest are a bit light in the high.

sorry for the sideways pics.

got a k1 zamal to go in the greenhouse last summer/fall also. gangly, stretchy gal, but got some smoke. much more citrusy than the k1 I just finished indoors, which had a more resin/leather/spicy smell.

ok, that is all of my k1 adventures, minus the ladies that got hit with PNG pollen, but those aren't as impressive, seeded early.

Nice thread thejact55, I just read the whole thing, lots of nice pictures and info. Those A1 plants from Oldbootz sure looked nice. I bet they smoke real good too.
Can't wait to see what you do next.

jact55,

love this thread. I am a fan of the Landraces too. Early on in the thread you had started the Mangobiche. Maybe I missed it but what ever happened with these? I have the Mangobiche, Punto Rojo and Double Jam and am trying to decide which one to do next. I am indoors so was wondering if these might be a handful in a tent

I am about to mix up some soil for my Sinai seedlings to be transplanted into.I use recycled organic soil. I am trying to get a feel for what their fertilizer tolerance is. Also, trying to work them up without triggering the autoflowering prematurely. Any words on that? Is it triggered mostly by root constriction or is there a sort of internal clock to boot? If so, what does my timeline look like. Thanks for any help. Wasn't really sure where to post this and I felt like more people might see this here.

I'm back you fuckers. Took a longer break than expected. I'll try to not be as much of a stranger.

I moved onto 10 acres, still trying to wrap my head around how I can utilize all that land for growing projects.

For the time being I got 3 lines of Punto Rojo, some Papua new guinea, a zamal k1 x PNG and a few Ukhrel going in a tent. Just hitting flower now. No seeding, gonna run for bud production.

And then a bunch cbd plants, AOF, hemland Affie, and MOB rolling outside. Harvest coming soon.

You won't need a ton of fertilizer. They aren't used to that. I had initial concerns about auto flower, but no longer. They'll throw positils early, but never finished for me earlier than Oct 1, give or take. And always yielded huge.

I'm not sure where you are at with them now, but hopefully they are monsters and about done by now

Hi.
How’s the Helmand Afghani? Did you pop many seeds? Derg Corra stock? i got some from them.
Take a few photos of it before you cut her down. Would be cool to see the tops abit closer.

You got a lot going on over there. Nice.

I love the helmand. I popped 3 seeds, they were popped later on, so did less. One seedling I killed, 1 male and 1 female. She is lankier, more NLD. Nice medium density buds with a sweet vanilla resin smell. Nice plant, she'll finish easily by Oct 15 (my frost date usually)

Yes, Derrg corra stock. Stout plants. One will finish. Other two, they might have to be moved inside for a week or two. Smaller one is heaviest yielding. Super Dense and frosty buds with a citrus gasoline smell, really like her. One is more of a true gasoline smell. And other is fairly neutral smell.

Here are some older pics, they need updating.
I'll get some better ones soon.

First one is hemland. Week or two old..
second one is smaller but dense budded AOF. week or two old..
Last one is group shot of AOF, 2 weeks or more old.
