Seeds collected from Chocolate Thai shipments during the 80's and gifted to me recently.

Rubbing the sticks brings back old Chocolate Thai memories.

Take me back to the past, when smoking Chocolate Thai was a blast. :smokey:

Many seed to go through, but it is very old and dried out. Only the most hardy will have survived.

All the seed from pic 5 is soaking. Looks a bit different and only a few of that.
Soaking another 20 from the 93 lot. Hope to germ some and reproduce it.
Was stored in a dark corner of basement and will keep soaking seeds until some germ.

Can really smell the chocolate when grinding the stems between fingers.

Don't make them like this anymore

Don't make them like this anymore

Have 100 seeds soaking and first 3 to germ are in pots.
They look very old and all weathered. Making history.

Have room for 100 seedlings, but most are dried out and hope for as many as possible to germ.

Placing in pots as soon as each seed cracks.

Labelled each seed like this.

Lot 1 - seed 2 - pic 1 is how they're labelled.

Chocolate Thai lot 1-2-1

The time for Choc Thai is now.

The time for Choc Thai is now.

Me too friend, because these are 20 years old or more and left in a basement somewhere.

Things happen at the appropriate time, for a specific purpose.
