Get the Cryptic labs stuff, pure original mexican genes. Also I recomended a lot his cross Demon latcher (Oaxaca x Haze) super good sativa. A blast from the past!

What kind of Oaxaca? You mean general?
Well the Oaxaca Strains that i considered pure haven't smell on the grow stage, Unfortunately strong smell on grow stage means nothing but hybridization.

I'm sorry for butting in, I'm from the old school way back South Tx and I've never seen an Oaxaca strain under 6ft tall period they're very tall in the 10 ft range. The veg time is 6 months and flowering time is 2&1/2 to 3 months. If someone shows me a so-called true Oaxaca that's 3ft tall I will be skeptical.

Cryptic lab’s Oaxacan Gold is a pure landrace cultivar originally from the Oaxaca region in Mexico. Oaxacan gold is somewhat of a long flowering pure sativa, it should mature in roughly 13 to 16 weeks but some phenotypes of this cultivar may want more time around 20 weeks flower. If you are a true pure sativa lover these long flowering plants are what you’re after, with their powerful psychedelic highs that go on for hours. Oaxacan gold has a great structure with a good amount of side branching that will fill out to a nice harvest, but it can become very tall for indoor growth, so proper measures are needed like pinching the terminal bud to keep this cultivar under control and promote more side growth. This line shouldn’t give you too much trouble like some wild Mexican cultivars. It has been selected and bred to itself many times to improve upon flowering times, structure, high and any other undesirable traits that would prevent you from getting many keepers in each pack.
Oaxacan gold has a great sativa aroma from years gone by with its spicy citrus incense smell. Some may have more of a fruity smell like berries but either way you’re sure to find something special for your collection. Like plants of purple color, proper measures are needed to achieve the famed gold color in this variety. It’s best to grow in a balanced organic medium that is not too high in nitrogen. They will turn gold on their own at the end of flower. A proper cure of at least a few months will only help this process along and break down any leftover chlorophyll. There is always girdling the plant like what has been reported to be done by the farmers in Mexico but this can be tricky to perform and takes lots of practice to perfect.

I’m guessing that comment was geared toward outdoor grows. Many tall cultivars can be trained to grow in tents if you know what you are doing.

Indeed they mean outdoor. As Groot says, training which in my opinion could be, bending , press the stems , topping, smaller pot, drying out, etc. Had lambsbread in 3 l. Pot workede fine.
Btw. Ncali do u have more details on your experience with the High on mystics oax? I Saw u mention a little bit bit Maybe the cure changed it a lil

Buenos dias desde un mañana lluviosa en Colombia. A mi llegaron unas plantas huerfanitas de un amigo aqui en Colombia. Me las regalo por motivo de viaje y me conto que eran 2 plantas diferentes de 2 bolsas diferentes (bagseed) de flores que le llamaron la atencion en MX.

Pues las medio organize y asumi que las tenia vegetando hace rato y las puse afuera a ver que ondas.

Pues salio un macho y una hembra y si, como dijo eran diferentes sepas. Pues el macho salio siendo un Skunk que olia a la cuadra. Super oloroso. El olor era un Skunk muy conocido pero de mi infancia. Yo diria clasico para no decir mas. Lo use en un cruce con mi MangoBiche y tambien se lo puse a su 'hermanita' que tiene aroma de fruta podrida. Ambas son desierticas y toman muy poca agua. Muy maderosas de tallo. Muy lentas a mi parecer y con hojas mas bien pequeñas.Se me ocurrio preguntar a ver que opinas que seran pues no tengo casi nada de informacion sobre ellas. Apenas retire el macho de polinizacion ayer y lo pidnso revegetar. La hembra no tanto.

Se ven bonitas las matitas, las tienes creciendo este año?
Fíjate que opinar exactamente que es,es sumamente difícil sino imposible; La hibridacion en México empezó hace 50 años, estoy seguro que fue el primer país donde sucedió (por obvias razones) .
Encontrar aquí las sativas criollas es complicado, pero aún hay
En México literal puedes encontrar desde el clásico skunk, hasta los últimos hibridos runtz de California; aquí llega cada semana semillas de Estados Unidos, de todas las variedades que te imagines, así que probablemente tengas en tus manos algo muy kush americano. Cómo te digo,es bien complicado saber que génetica es. Yo me enfocó en tratar de buscar las antiguas, y tratar de rescatar lo poco que queda.
