ive been a long time reader on this forum and this is my first post after having some issues.
Ive been growing a few years in soil and had some good grows in dwc than I tried aeroflo10 from ghe. After 2 grows where i had issues i never had before ROOT ROT!! I had to cancel the grow and toss the girls.
My conditions were on point no ph issues no temp issue always between 65-68 and ec was about 400ppm but still i had some slime and weak ass plants.
This time I would like to do things differently and like to know what people with hydro/aero experience think.
I use rapid rooter instead of rockwool Ill increase the water level instead of as low as possible ill raise it to touch the bottom of the netpots but before using the system ill handwater until i see some roots.
And this time i will brew some tea and use it in my system instead of bleach, h2o2 etc.
Recipe: RO water 4L(a little more than a gallon)
1-2 handful earthworm
1 tsp tnc mycormax
1 tsp tnc bactorrs13
5-10ml Bud candy instead of molasses
4 Liter of ro water
I will use 3Liters of that tea in my 50L tank with a mild dosis of ghe flora pack + ghe calmag and add one cup every 2-3 days.
