Aquarium Mini Grow

Had a small hexagon kid's aquarium hanging around.

12/12 from seed in rockwool.
Once I saw a root, I put this together.



Drakensburg Gold (Malberry)

I used this small air pump in a small wide mouth masson jar
POPETPOP Air Pump Aquarium USB Air Pump Ultra Silent

a Keurig cup for the net pot.

a 40mm knockout punch to cut a hole in the masson jar lid.
(this here is a 30mm, but I used a 40mm for a perfect fit)

and a sheet metal punch and grommet for the air line

Now all I have to do is wait.

Sorry, is there a mason jar under the lid? Like with the net cup in it? If so, what is the all the moss stuff for?

Yes there is. It's a small jar filled to the bottom of the net cup. I didn't want to fill the whole aquarium with hydroton and water because I want to control the plant size. Expect some bonsai jitsu on it.

As for the moss, it's supposed to be ornamental. Lol

I'll take more pictures when I get home.

Lmao... the jar is 500ml/16oz.

I have an 8oz jar I didn't use because I thought it would be too small. I'll add it to the aquarium. May as well make it a forest.

It'll be swinging if it's a male and a female.

Wish there was a way to hide the air lines.
Anyone know if you can drill a hole in the side of a masson jar?

Complete and utter failure.

I need to figure out a better way to ventilate, feed and water.

I'll use a plastic food safe container next time and run the lines through the side to hide the air lines.
