The place where Glaucksbacon brags and shows off like a jerk

Hey guys, Glaucksbacon here, longtime lurker and intermittent commenter, rare poster, but here I am! Hopefully I'm posting these pictures right, please LMK if not.

First, how about the latest harvest?
That was one plant of Jawa Pie, unfortunately the non-keeper pheno, it was the last seed of JP I had and cloned it immediately when I saw pistils, its not bad, but it's not the incredibly tasty and dark colored keeper pheno, man I miss it.

Next pic is when that same jar was drying
Man do I love my little dry tent. Inkbird controlling a duct booster fan at 65%, simple! One of these days I'm going to try curing the whole way through in there.

Next is a live bud shot
Ignore the dog and cat hairs! This is one of the last two Jawa Pie clones I have going, like I said, it's not bad per se...just not that good good

Next is Trichs!
A couple more weeks and then this cloneline of Jawa Pie is out of my grow space! Camera phones have gotten pretty decent, eh?

Next is the main tent
4x4 lit with 480w of kingbrite QBs, love these, they definitely upped my yield even compared to my previous 6 vero cob setup, let alone my 600w HPS that blasted the temp up back when I ran it. Thankfully I just sold it to someone starting out, no more temptation to run the HPS in winters now.

back two are the leggy Jawa Pie clones, front right is a cherry pie CBD, front left The Kragle. front middle is a forgettable Hula Buddha CBD, forget the full name of the hula buddha cross, and it's growing like shit anyway, may be male, we shall see.

I've been running 2 gallon coco hempy buckets and I've really been loving them. I have four 3.5gals that I'm about to test, looking forward to more yield and longer watering times with them, fingers crossed.

I love using those window fans in my tent, I really want to get 2-4 more and get a "walls of wind" thing going, I keep trying to remember to watch for sales. the 6 inch fans don't create too much turbulence to nearby plants while being easy to hang and take up very little space, and I find they last longer than the clip fans sunlight supply wants to sell you.

the veg tent is the last pic
There's my last clip fan I have in service, the little fan that could, Im surprised it's still going after at least two years now, most of those clip fans die on me in less than a year /endrant. Please don't ask me what strains are in there, I don't love them until they're confirmed females in flower
petting.gif

That's about it everybody, please feel free to constructively criticize, I love improving my tech, or whatever else you feel like saying/asking! thanks for stopping by!

Nutes I use are

greenway biotech's camg concentrate, once that's done I'll be using greenleaf's dry camg.

Megacrop v1 for my base, I bought 10kgs in 2018 and I'm going to use it all damnit! (EDIT: and I did, and Megacrop v3 sucks ass, back to Jack's 321!)

Greenleaf's sweet candy for taste improvements

MKP for bloom boosting, soon to be switching to homemade hammerhead (EDIT: Hammerhead is noticeably better than MKP alone)

a bit of recharge in veg until its gone (EDIT: it's gone)

and some Mr Fulvic thanks to a rec from BillFarthing, definitely improving my resin production after starting it. thanks Bill!

Made up my first batch of the DIY hammerhead today, I'm excited to definitively know that it's going to increase yields compared to the straight MKP.

Does anyone think that the added sulfur in the potash/epsom is going to improve taste? That element is important for taste is it not?

And guys, I have a confession to make, that strain I have that I mentioned before is cherry wine CBD, not cherry pie CBD. My shame is insurmountable.

Nice! im excited to hear your results.

And I believe it should. I can't speak to any research done with cannabis. But it is widely known that S containing amino acids, glucosilinates, are responsible for "onion, garlic, and cabbage aromas" in plants.

Oh shit guys, more pictures :groupwave:

First pic is the cherry wine(, not pie) cbd plant, went in 7 weeks and a few days ago, will probably let it get to 10 weeks before cut.

second is its clone, went in just a week and some change ago

third up is The Kragle at four weeks old

Fourth pic is this weird Hula Buddha CBD cross, the previous seed did not grow so tall and lanky like this, but the first seed did taste great so it will live

fifth and sixth are the nearly ready Jawa Pie clones one and two, got lanky on me because they were a lower branch clone, but check out the grenades on them.

Then there's some more top cola shots and we finish off with a full tent shot. Hope you enjoy!

I may have forgotten to hit the upload button guys...:bis:

Still trucking over here, Molten Core by Ocean Grown and Darkhorse x Tenderheart by Cannabis Family came down. As expected Molten Core yielded better, while the bud size of the DHxTH was big big, the MC buds were that golf bally kinda kushy shape instead of the long buds of the DHxTH. Beautiful wife is happy to be flush with CBD. IMG_20210504_202245.jpg IMG_20210504_202254.jpg IMG_20210504_202428.jpg IMG_20210504_202306.jpg IMG_20210504_202404.jpg IMG_20210504_202419.jpg

Great plants and interesting selection! How does the CBD help your wife? I’ve heard it’s good for muscle

Hey madalasatori, the wife has epilepsy, so she tries to stay dosed with CBD for that. I also enjoy a little bit from time to time to augment the pure THC strains we have, less jittery and paranoid I find.

GoldleafByILGM.jpg

Took down some Goldleaf by ILGM, I didn't have my hopes very high but this one surprised me, very stoney, and tasty. Was able to get Amber trichs very early on their time estimate too.

In other news Megacrop v3 sucks a big fat one, made my stuff taste horribad, maybe they need a flush now, but F that. Made in China, I deserve it...Back to Jack's 321. Still using an older version of greenleaf's sweet candy which is nice, have some powdered molasses once that finishes.

Now that I'm using all dry water soluble nutrients and amendments (excepting Mr Fulvic), my next trick will be going all American all dry water soluble nutrients and amendments.

First pic is another batch of the Goldleaf via ILGM I cloned, going to clone it about 5 times before we let that seed die.

Second pic is DUI by Unofficial Good Guys, the only plant that went this purple, managed to snag a clone when I saw the early purple stripe! If you happen to be in Michigan I may be able to get you a clone...don't want it to die with me, but I haven't gotten to smoke it just yet, still curing it out.

:rtfo: Thanks to Bill Farthing I'm rocking it!

Put some blumats in, all told it was less than 200usd in equipment for 10 sites.

Showing the flowering four, the vegging 6+1 revegging DUI, a close up of the upper gravity reservoir topped up via constant flood and drain, and a far out shot of the whole res setup

I am super geeked! I think it'll hold about 25 gallons, time for a vacation!

:yay:
