Hey whats up everyone. Hopes all is well with your grows. Harvest is upon us and I'm about to start another indoor coco fun time.

Just in case you dont know.

I got a 3.75ftx3.75x6.75ft hut with (1) 600 Watt Light.
265cfm dayton blower is the exhaust, shall be upgrading to a vortex 6inch 440 or so cfm so that I can run filter, hood, fan, to the the outside Along with a new hood with 6inch ports for air flow. Ill update on that when I get them.

As for now the clones I got... 11 Querkle's in some 1 gallon pots with some coco and perlite. I only plant to veg for about 1 and half weeks or so. Today is day 1. I'll only flower the best 9 looking plants.

I'll be repotting into some bigger pots because I dont feel like watering them too often.

I water by hand since I have few plants.

My Nutes list as follows:
For Veg
House And Garden Cocos A+B
B'cuzz root stimulator
MultiZyme

For Bloom:
House and Garden Cocos A+B
Top Booster (H&G's pk 13/14) for weeks 4 and 5
BudXL
Multizyme
Shooting powder(0-42-27) weeks 6 and 7 (First time I'll be using this)

I follow the House and Garden feeding Schedule (See below) for both veg and bloom. As for the B'cuzz root stimulator I follow the bottle instructions for 1ml per liter.

Veg Schedule:

In case you needed the H&G feed schedules I found them here:

Well Ill post some pics in a couple days to compare some growth. Until then

Day 11 Veg Update

Day 11 Veg Update

So its time to update.

The Querkle's are coming along and the chosen 9 are going to be chosen tomorrow when I re-pot them into 2 gallon pots. After that they go into 36 hour dark period sometime tomorrow. Then its the first day of 12/12.:woohoo:

Here's a shot of 10 of the Querkle's, First part of LST'ing. I'll be picking the 9 that I like the growth of the most and do some more LST'ing

The plan is to flower out 9 little bushed of purple buds.

I topped 1. I really like the growth on it I think I kinda would have liked to have done it to all of them but who well. Next time I guess. Good thing I'm a med patient and clones aint no problem.

I'll post pics tomorrow after I re-pot them. And show off the 9 that will be flowering.

Starting 9

Starting 9

So I've made cuts and the starting 9 are pictured below.

So just transplanted the girls to 2 gallon buckets for bloom. They were transplanted into 2gallon buckets, and added no more perlite cuz I used so much when I first potted them up, just pure B'cuzz Coco. So the final coco/perlite mix in the 2gallon pot is about 70 coco/20 perlite. I noticed something though, I only veged for 10+ days or so and with a Coco/perlite mix of about 50/50. And damn crazy root growth. I forgot to snap some root porn :wallbash:

707, What's going on Bro?

I'm definitly in to watch this one. Looking really good so far. I think there is a lot i can learn here, so i will be following along. One question, maybe we can get a wider angle pic? I'm trying to see how this whole hand watering thing cleans up.

Are you just catching run off in that rectangle tray? what happens after that? just evaporation.. .or something i am missing... it seems like its on the floor, so no room for a drain fitting?

I am debating switching my soil grow to Coco next round in hopes of achieving the 1g/watt. I would have to do (12) 3.5 or 4.5 gal containers and i am trying to think of ways to reduce the daily efforts. Watering everyday is a lot of work already. Are you watering / feeding every day? I like soil for the simplicity but i really want to pull 1 g per w STAT.

Thanks mang. Your Querkles are looking prime. :joint: see you around.

Natagonnaworrie, thanks for stopping by man. :joint:

I switched to coco because its the best of both worlds in my opinion (soil vs. coco). Read up on Bonecarvers hand watered thread, it'll really enlighten you on the whole thing.

Actually I am catching run off in that tray. I pull out 3 plants at a time and water them till they get a lil run off not much like 10%. I dont want too much run off as to not waste a lot of nutes. After I water three plants I dump the run off into a bucket and then dump it outside. Watering only takes about 20 mins out of my day since I'm use to doing it. I don't want to mess with drippers on such a small grow, plus I feel like its pretty simple just to handwater. Simple is good IMO. Last run tho I didn't re pot into bigger pots and watered twice daily for 8 weeks. LOL never again :wallbash: If your tyring to reduce labor than setting up some type of automated system is best. Tho I bet you'll be surprised with the results of hand watering in coco.

I feed every time I water. Since this time I'm running two gallon pots, I'll probably be watering every other day. I follow the chart above at normal strength and don't have any problems.

Here they are 5 Days into 12/12. I took a couple of quick pics while I was watering these babies. You can see that plastic tub I use on the left.

Heres another pic of the canopy. My research indicates that Querkle has a 2.5x stretch (eg. 7inch@start of 12/12, ~21in@finish) So I should have a pretty decent canopy I hope.:joint:

Day 14 of 12/12

What's up everyone, hope all is well with your grows. Mine is just chugging along.:joint:

So it's day 14 of Flowering and the canopy if filling out quite nicely. I am currently feeding them in case you were wondering:

8ml of House&Garden Aqua Flakes (Works just as well as the Cocos, a lil' more pH stable from what I've heard.)

4ml of H&G Bud Xl

10ml of General Hydroponics Florablend Compost Tea.

Heres a pic of the canopy

I'll pulled one out after I watered so you can take a look without the HPS light. This plant is about 16 inches tall.

Great job so far! I'm takin a seat.

I hand water my as well and do a similar drain setup. I use either an extra plastic tray like you or else place each plant on top of a kitchen aid mixer bowl.

Drainage does suck when it drips on to the floor, but, I try to think of that as a mixed blessing, it forces me to keep the tent a lot cleaner!

Texicannibus: You should be very pleased with the smoke that comes from your beans. I assume you have beans since you said "popping". If you do this should interest you. Go for the pheno with the wider leaves/more indica looking. I hear there is a very high rate of getting the Querkle Z pheno compared to the Space Queen dominante one. The rate according to Sub is around 50/50. It smells like grape now n laterz and has purple tinge on the leaves early on. I found this chart that might help yah out too. It was made by a grower named Small Potato, I got it off another site.

alriiight alriiight!! Lookin dank dude! Love the growth on the plant you pulled out, fuckin right! I need a 600 so bad, Im tired of using 800 watts in such a small area....Were the querkles clones you got or seeds?? This should be really fun to watch, the H & G for sure. Shooting powder works well if you use it correctly and I'm sure you will! Plants lookin healthy too, good job buddy I'll be back! PEACE

Caligreen: Yeah man..that one plant I pulled out is the one I topped. The clones were aquried from a dispensary that carry Querkle beans straight from the breeder. Since they carried the beans I decieded to pick up the Querkle clones they had, I am pretty sure it is the indica pheno (its called Querkle Z by the breeder) by the broad fan leaves.

Ill take pics when lights come on later it is day 20 of 12/12...and according to research the stretch has stopped. Actually that graph has helped a lot and has been pretty accurate.

You have any idea if they need support looking at the topped one that looks like the way to go but would like to hear what you think once you get done with harvest. Probably wont be popping my beans till after your grow is done have lots on my plate atm.

It looks like the stems are gonna be strong enough to hold up some heavy buds. Very good sturdy growth on these babies.

So its day 21 into 12/12 and everything seems on track 'cept for over doing it a tad bit with the N. I cut back on the Aqua Flakes A/B...everything looks great. :joint:

very nice

so basically treating it like soil ..

Acutally, I dont treat it like soil. I treat it like Coco but I get your point though...I like how to the naked eye my grow just looks like soil grow lol. With coco (hand)watering often is actually a good thing. But you probably know that. I'm watering every other day now that I'm in 12/12. Probably could water once a day. Watering this often would probably be over watering in the case with soil.

BuddinThe buds are swelling up. I'll post some pics tomorrow after I water them girls. Calyx and leaf tips are turning purple already.
