Growers Choice ROI-e720 vs Momac LED NRG-SAVR 640

Man so many good breeders. The way id do is first figure out what strains i want to run then look into who offers the best versions of the variety im after, because they all kinda specialize in different crosses.

Nice....the GC seems a little bulkier.Are you seeing any difference quality wise?

None so far, the momac side structure is a lil different tho, maybe tighter nugs forming.

do you think it’d be more efficient to run 8 of either of these lights with 10 feet ceilings? I was trying to figure out the amp usage. For the Momac it says 100v-277v so it’s 650w/277v? that would be 2.something amps per light that doesn’t sound right. If that’s true it’s already cutting out some work wiring romex and a light controller. If the heat and energy is less and quality and yield same or better as cmh I’m inclined to try them. Hard to validate buying $1500 lights with no experience on them.

they look pretty even, lowers on gc may be a lil bigger, hard to judge quality under the different spectrums, but they do have slightly different bud structure. I wonder if i can post videos on this new site like photos...

I cant say for sure, maybe a lil bit but the momac side seems like it could be denser. For ceiling height the gc can be closer to the canopy, no ill effect from being as close as 6 inches while the momac plants didnt like being any closer than 12. Not sure about volts/amps but both lights are runnin on 240, with a 110-220 converter for the plug. I was cmh before led, jus recently made the switch, and im diggin um.

Picking up the GC 720 tomorrow....900 cash + tax
Best price I can find so far.....I'm liking the 5 year warranty they stand behind,peeps near me are grabbing them by the pallet.With only 7' ceilings in my second room I'm putting together, that 6" from the canopy was a big factor as well as everything else about the Growers Choice.

$900 for a e720 is pretty good. That is a lot of light. I have e680 and keep them 24" away so far. They stand behind their lights through the dealers, I used Growers House. Just shipped back a 680 that developed a bad bar, and the ride was on them both ways.
