Did you measure the umoles at the tops at the end? The tops looked awful close to the lights. I ask because I have my lights 24" away still at week 2 1/2, at 800.

Nah i didnt do any light measurements, just went by recommendations from the companies. Under growers choice the tallest bud was bout 7 inches from the light, under momac bout 12.

Hard to say really, i like being able to get a lil closer with the lights but it will be interesting to see how they penetration differs. If yields are similar, using 80 less watts would be a plus for the momac. I also like how the momac hangs from 2 hangars instead of 4, makes it a lot easier to raise and lower. Could probly rig the other one to do the same but not sure if it would effect lights in a negative way because of weight distribution.

Less wattage, bigger yield. that would be a better choice.:headbange From the images, i guess the yield might be very close.

Have enjoyed your side by side , my GC 720's are up and running.Started them at 25% for the first couple of day's and incrementally increase to 50,then 75% which is where they sit now after 1 week.Just Casey Jones under them for the initial run.Either Karmas Sowahh or JJ's SD bx3 for the next run, didn't want to get acquainted with either of those incase of a learning curve. Can I ask if you kept your humidity a bit higher running your LED's in flower?

Nah I did things pretty much the same, i got a dehumidifier that kicks in at 60 n takes it down to 50. Sometimes i adjust it toward the end from 55- 48. I think led plants thrive under heavier defoliation too, dont be afraid to strip more leaves than u might normally.
