HEY HEY People HUGE INFORMATIVE UPDATE!!! Here new pics of the PC.. I think I finally got this one down.. lol Fucking thing is hard to keep cool.. when you got the light traps on.. They dont only trap the light but they trap the heat also SOOOO I had to do the standard PC style by making a little split in the PC for the fan to suck air into.. but i also got a fan on top since thats where more heat is obviously.

Here are the 4 babies i decided to keep.. Two where the most healthy out of the bunch that didn't do so well im my crazy home made soil, and the 2 others were just germing and had a tail so I stuck them in the soil. So they doing pretty well I see, im going to keep them covered like that for a LONG while till atleast 4-6 leaves because its REALLY REALLY dry inside the PC because my ventilation is crazy and lots of wind to keep the temps down.





BeeKaa- Ya This is kinda of how im going to have it setup in the new design. Kinda gona draw you a mental picture really quick... Gona have both tubes side by side most likely gona use metal band clamps to hold them together really nice, and I can use those bands as the chain hook up area. But ya They will be both ducted together at the very ends meeting into a Y-connector.. So then ill only need 2 holes in the CAB for the both of the cool tubes.

1 tube will have the 400watt HPS, the other tube will have the 400watt MH Conversion bulb. Im going to design it so that each of them will only be on for 6 hours a day.. which is nice because they both dont use the exact same amount of electricity so thats a little more protection on my part... So they wont even be on at the same time. Just each will take turns for the 12 hours lights on period.. one first 6 hours other last 6 hours.. Who knows maybe Ill make it so they keep changing every hour.. Never know

So pretty much... Im not going to be vegging at all in this CAB.. Ill just have the plants from clones..root inside the PC next to the bonsi mom, then gona put them inside the new HYDRO setup i have planned, mini DWC Recir Thats right MINI RECIRCULATING DWC Can you just see the growth ill be getting


Thats pretty much that for now But Im guess not this week.. but next week, week of Valentines day. ill be starting to set up the Tubes with the bulbs and shit, and im going to be preping me IR protection hehe CANT WAIT CANT WAIT!!

It will for sure be a true ADVANCED MICRO CAB Im estimating Ill be pulling out 2 plants for harvest a week while the other 10 are still growing OOO THERES A TEASER !! makes you think .. WTF .. Recir DWC !!! in micro !!! with perpetual growth!! and MULTI SPECTRUM !!!

I dont lie when I tell people to take what PROs info them and make it your own and combine everyones BEST parts into your own Thats exactly what im doing.

Im guess its pheno though is sativa/indica mix.. because it has thin leaves like a sativa.. yet already showing red hairs.. so showing a little bit of both which is nice . I always like to have even balance of things ;P

tip:
use the hot air coming from the tubes, to heat your floor a little..
that wouldn't be too hard eh?
and you only need it in winter end saves you some electricity
little electric heaters are mostly 500-2000 watts

PS:

I have a K.O. Kush here.. thats a Full indica and fin ishes in 7-8 weeks..
but she has REALLY THIN leaves..
so i think in some cases the leaves are not such a good indicator of variety.

QUick update on the PC ...Fucking thing is pissing me off lol... Got 3 fans in it now..2x 80mms and 1x 120mm...

Fucking making it better light proof pretty much turned it into an Oven...NO JOKE!!

Im getting Heat temps that are OFF MY THERMOMETER lol Like 120'F was he highest iv seen...

After adding the 120mm... Im looking at it now.. and temps are dropping Its at 105'F now.. but I highly doubt it will get anywhere near ideal..

Im going to try one last thing, and thats put a piece of plastic glass directly under the bulbs.. So they are separated.. THIS SHOULD FIX THE ISSUE lol

If it doesnt, Im fucking through it away and going to build a wood box that will house my Mom, and I know will be Light proof and Will be greatly ventilated.

Cheesis what a headache lol not really... But more of a hassle

But ya .. down to 3 seedlings now.. Im thinking the heat is taking them out one at a time.. So i through in some more seeds This tim ei just planted them in the pots they would stay in till they get about 7inchs...

3rd WEEK OF 12/12

HEY HEY HEY Everyone I Figured out about how long into flowering my plants are after some intense reading and Looking at my own thread.. AND WOW... Today only marks the 3rd WEEK of flowering... Fucking WHO KNEW lol I sure as hell didn't

BUT Since today is just about the 3rd week of 12/12 flowering I decided to take some snap shots. I took quiet a bit of them too.

PC grow temps have been at a steady 100'F lol I figure that will be fine till I get that piece of plastic in there.

OK FINALLY!! I'm making headway on the TEMPs in the pc... I got them to stay at a steady 88'F .. I can live with that and so can my plants Freaking talking about a pain in the ass!!

Another update... on Temps.. Currently staying at a steady 86'F looks like the piece of plastic did the trick and turn around one of the fans in the Light box area so 1 fan in intake and the other is exhaust.

Seems to be all well now. Now i just have to mess with the light leaks from the 2 fans again.. MEH!!

Here are the specs of the PC..
Grow Area 17" x 13.5" x 7.5"
Light Area 17" x 3.5" x 7.5"

Lights = 3x 42watters 126watts Total
This PC doesn't even have 1square foot of foot print.. Unless
i did my math wrong(maybe ) But regardless its near or just a little
over/under 1sqr' so thats 126watts of glory might be a little overkill..
But o well Maybe Ill swap out 2x 42s and put in 2x 23watters.. Then im stuck with a shit load of CFLs with nothing to do with

Nice scrog man, that kind of net is cool, lets just see if no buds get stuck on it For 3 weeks into flowering she seems to be going pretty well, I'm sure those buds will get much fatter very soon.

Thanks fellas HerbGlaze, ya someone else told me that too before, when they saw my ROOT porn pictures... Dont have the root pics up anymore because they are not on my ICmag gallery, but if you look at the pics now and you look at the bucket the plant is in.. That bucket is ..

10"H x 7"W x 5"D ... and the root ball takes up WELL more then half.. id say about.. 6/8s to 7/8s of the bucket ITS CRAZY BIG!!

Ill forsure be posting pics of EVERYTHING once i harvest...

Just playing the freaking waiting game though... Got pretty bored looking at my lady so thats why i made my PC grow now haha Fucking thing is a pain in the ass though.. let me tell ya Temps are steady 88'F... doable but i might actually take out

Well.. update on the PC.. FUCK THAT THING!!!!!!!!! lol I just cant do it anymore, Iv tweaked that thing here and there up over and around... Just cant get those temps under 88'F...

Also, There was no way in making it 100% light proof... Which I am wanting now..

SO!! In turn Now that I have this nice piece of Plastic that is 15.5"x7.5" Looks Like I am going to build myself a little BOX Which the Inside Dimensions will be ..

15.5" x 7.5" x probably.. 13"...

Im going to build in inside chamber for the fans and what not so I wont have to worry about the light issue again... Heres a little diagram I whipped up just this quick




The picture itself is more accurate to what the finished box will look like.. one of the descriptions says 1exhaust hole.. but really it will be 3x 2" holes just like the passive intakes. Im thinking I might putting some PVC in those passive intake holes for light traps.. Since that will be the best and easier way

The passive holes will be only spot where light will leak out.. Everywhere else Will be sealed and the fans are in that seperate area with some pieces of wood in the way to light wont be touching the fans at all. It will be a perfect design, and LOTS of air flow for sure.

I might even have it setup as a mini DWC, seeing i have WAY better luck with hydro then I do with soil.. Id love it to be soil though trust me.. But well see... I have quiet a bit of shit to mess around with so i can try different stuff.


EDIT>>> O ya forgot to mention that I added 2 more 42watters to my Cab..
So currently this is my CFL light setup in the Cab..

4x 42watters
2x 23watters

Total = 214 watts total thats.. 54watter per square foot

ILL BE HAPPY HAPPY IF I GET MY 150 GRAMS!!!!!!!!! 5.35oz !!

Shit beats me lol I used 1/8 strength Fert lol .. And that one was having some root problems also and I didnt check on them for a day and the saran wrap was laying in it with a bunch of water.. So that was a magnifying glass pretty much Just fried the little guy lol..

I doubt it was nute burn though.. 1/8 strength should just fine for seedlings.. no?
Almost certain it was the saran wrap that burnt the little guy.

But thats old new now I just scraped the PC, and Im going to make a new box out of 1/2 oak, Which will be just perfect for my few mothers Im plan on having and also be able to Veg a 2 plants

my seedlings don't get any nutes from me..
they are too delicate to mess up, when the sex has to be determined.

i germ them,

plant them in seedling soil (low nutes, causes more female )

and after 1 week i transplant them in plagron light mix (9x9x9,5 pot)

that soil contains anough nutes for a week and then i begin to feed them on 1/4 strentgh with organic nutes (bac)

of course everybody has its own way

good luck with them little bastards, and be a little nice to them..

Hum thanks for the TIP BK Ill remember that for sure.. But dont forget im using Bagseed Of course id be way more careful if i was using something that was a "GOOD" strain rather then just picking out 10-12 seeds out of my container of about 400+

AHAH You know funny thing is.. I planted like 6 seeds in one little section of those pots, and they never popped up.. as you can see from my pics.. Well when I put that stuff aside I shut the light off and I happen to check them today.. and all the little shits sprouted.. and are like 2inches tall !! lol Go figure.. Crazy shit

I put them in my CAB with the 12/12 lights, Ill let them go in there till they either die or if they live, Ill use them as an experiment

the 12/12 germing is well known here

it doesn't stress the plant at all, it even causes more females..

nut notice that they will beginning to flower 3-4 weeks from seedling,
and they will grow a couple of weeks more when flowering depending on the genes in them.

it is possible

a year ago i germed al my seeds on 12/12 so i could determine the sex early,
the males will show their sex sometimes a week earlier than females..
so they can be removed at that point.
I kept the rest at 12/12 untill I saw female flowers.. just to be sure i wasnt going to take male cuttings.
then when al conirmed female i put them back to 24/0 and with little to no degeneration ( I take a week for going back into full vegging speed )the seedlings will grow more and more for you to take cuttings when the time is right.

nowadays i germ and grow them under 24/0.. take a cutting @ week 3-4 and root it under 12/12 in a bubblephonic container (water with lots of bubbles)
so they can show the sexe, while the seedlings can grow undisturbed

ps:the sprouting your seedlings have done i think it is caused by stretching
(strechting you get when the lighting is hung up too high.. or when the spectrum is wrong (orange/red in vegging for example)
streching is caused by shortage of "good" light

when a seedling is under soil, he'd better get the hell above ground where the light is or else it would die, so it stretches his way through the most loose soil (top layer )
that just pure survival mechanism

but this can be really helpfull if your seeedlings don't pop up.
