Well, Pan-op, I finally got the nerve to chop my mother. I posted some pics of it in my new thread. Click below for the link.
Later, bro,

Just a quick update...

The mom was starting to look a little disheveled, so I took two clones today.

The cutting on the left is about 2" tall and has two nodes of growth, while the one on the right is roughly 3" tall with three nodes. These are much larger cuts than the ones I used to start my current round (roughly 1 inch tall, one growth node), so hopefully, I can shave a week or so off my veg period.

Sorry for the lack of updates this weekend...I've been busy gearing up the Panopticab for flowering.

Say hello to the newest member of the 150w club...

I transplanted my C clones into 2 gallon buckets, re-LSTed them, and flipped to 12/12. I'll post a real update sometime tomorrow afternoon, when I'm not so pushed for time...

Oh! Frozen_herb gifted me some Bubblicious clones, so I've got some new genetics to play with, too...

About the whole Scrog/Transplant issue: I've given this considerable thought, and will LST the plants until they are ready to flower. At which point, I'll transplant into the 2 gallon pots, attach the screens, and flip to 12/12. Pretraining with LST should hopefully level out the canopy and fill the area that the screen will cover, without the use of an actual screen; allowing for easy transplanting.

I meant to say :yeahthats a good idea. Probably about the best thing to do.

Glad you got that 150 Thats gonna pack on the weight!!!

man, Lifeless was growing some nice Bubbleicious in the tubs. It looked SWEET! I see another thread in your future! LOL!

Week 6 update...

Remember those clones I took a few days ago? Here's one six days later...

I transplanted it into a small pot and scrapped the other B clone. My veg cab is getting a bit tight, and I want to leave room for my new bubblicious clones.

My B plant is still in veg, as I only have two large buckets and both are being used by the larger C plants. I figure I'll top as needed in order to keep the growth in check.

Here's how my C plants are looking after their first full day of flower...

I'll continue to LST my ladies until their initial stretch period is over. At that point, I'll stop tying down branches and allow the colas to develop...

Clones and plants are looking very nice so far. That 150 in there is looking bright as well. Best of luck in flowering, I can't wait to see them fatten :joint:

Another week, another update...

Here's a shot of my veg cab. B is currently at week 7 veg.

As you can see it's still looking crowded... I've tried to neaten things up on my B plant since she's going to be waiting until December to flower.

I trimmed off some fan leaves, topped the longer stems, performed more LST. Likely this plant will have to flower by itself, but it'll probably have enough budsites to makeup for the lack of another plant, yieldwise.

My mom is looking good. She'll probably get another trim later this week.

My most recent B clone is looking good, too. Not much action, but she's starting to put out the secondary growth. I'm still waiting on my Bubbleicious clones to root; if both of them do, I might toss out this B clone to make sure they have enough room. My long term goal is to have about 6 or 8 moms of my favorite strains; ready to clone as I see fit.

My flower cab is really crankin' out the green. This 150 hps is a closet grower's dream...

I performed another round of LST recently. There was a lot of growth, but not a lot of stretch, which I guess is due to the sheer penetrating power of a HPS vs CFLs. Either way, in another week or so, they should start to slow down and pack on some weight. At that point, I'll quit tying the plants down and begin moving them away from light as necessary. I think I lowered my B plant's yield last grow by continuing to LST it for too long into flower.

Here's a shot of the two C plants outside of the cab...

No nutrient burn, deficiencies, or pests so far. I plan to keep it that way...

Hello. I'm just dropping in for a quick update...

One of my Bubbleicious clones has finally rooted after 10 days...

I planted her into a small pot and stuck her in the back to get her bearings. At the same time, I checked on my other Bub clone and her stem was looking kinda brown and mushy, so I tossed her.

It seems that I've finally reached maximum capacity in my veg cab, so there won't be any cloning in the near future...

I also took a few minutes to LST my flowering plants.

They really seem to respond positively to the stress, pumping out new nodes at a fast pace. I'll probably LST them another time or two, but not much more, as the initial stretch is starting to subside.

I've really dug LST this go 'round. It's super easy to manage the height of my plants and doesn't require a fixed screen. You should see my B plant, LST has turned it into this flat hedge-like growth. It's incredible how durable cannabis really is...

Another week, another update...

I decided to kill off my most recent B clone today. My larger B plant is demanding more room, so I had to submit.

As you can see, I've done more work on the B plant; removing some fan leaves here and there, topping nearly every branch on the plant, etc. Some branches are bare-looking, but in a week or so, new growth will pop out and I'll have to strip it all over again. Chances are, I'll reveg this plant after flowering it out to make it the new official mother.

There isn't anything wrong with the current Snow White mom, but she is much too tall. My B plant is only a few inches tall, but has many more lateral branches, which would be more suitable for my veg cab. I don't know for sure, I have a while to figure it out, I guess...

The Bubbleicious clone seems to be doing well. She suffered a little nute burn from being planted immediately after rooting, but all that seems to be over with. I have high hopes for her...

All seems to be going great for my flowering ladies as well...

They're starting to relax on the stretch, so I've probably LST'd them for the last time. From here on out I'll just adjust the height of the plant relative to the bulb, rather than bending the plant itself.

just got done reading your grow, and wow, nice job!
taking off too many fan leaves could send the plant into shock. thats what happened to me a while ago, took off too many fan leaves, and my girl herm'd. just be careful not too take off too many.

I'm not worried in the slightest.

I have over 6 weeks left in flowering, so she'll continue to veg for that long. At this point, I'm just trying to limit her growth. I don't want her to overgrow my mom or my new Bub clone...

Plants are looking very nice thus far. The LST seems to be working well for the space in the cabs. Just curious, how are temps in the cab with the 150w? I've got some Mandala Hashberry's going now, I may have to give you some clones for your next run. They are vigorous as hell too being F1's :joint:

The HPS cab is holding steady in the low 80's...

And you know I'll never turn down new genetics. Hashberry sounds delicious!

Another week, another update...

Here's the veg cab...

the B plant at week 9...

the Bubbleicious plant at day 10. I just LST'd it prior to taking the photo...

the Snow White mom...

And here's the Snow Whites at week 3 of flowering...

Everything seems to be going well, still no pest infestations or nutrient issues. The buds on my flowering plants are really starting to knit together, so I should be able to start posting some 'bud porn' pretty soon...
