Pollinations have begun. It's a bit early for the LA Chocolat so I'll hit it in a little while and I havent finished collecting the NGBz pollen so ill be doing that soon. Everything I hit will get hit again a week later to ensure good pollination and a decent number of seeds to play with. I only hit pheno 2 of SSxHaze but I plan to hit pheno 3 as well once it's a bit further along. It would be cool to find some Appalachian leaning plants in the Mountain Temple f2 seeing how Bodhi lost his male...and I dont think its out of the question as the two plants I have going definitely smell of the Green Crack x Tres Dawg side of things.

Got the rest of the pollinations done, found enough pre buds that were developed. Except for the SSxHaze pheno 3, couple more days for her.

I've noticed some pistils definitely withered, some starting to and some look untouched...time will tell.

Let the seeds grow, watch the buds fill and let the resin flow!!

I cant really say one way or the other, this is only my 2nd time pollinating in the tent. But the first time, I harvested my plants later than the advertised flowering times and I wouldn't say I over matured them.
I do believe the pollinated flowers will finish earlier because that area goes into seed production first and foremost rather than bract production for pollination. That's why I only hit lower branches, I still want those choice buds on top for my pleasure!
But I'll keep that in mind as these develope and see what I notice. I guess the other thing is, each of my grows is pretty much all new seed plants that I've never grown before, so I have nothing to compare to.

One day! One day I'll be set up better where I can pheno hunt individual lines, grow from clones and not just the seed plant, have a seperate pollination chamber for seed production...many plans, just not at the point where I can pull the trigger yet.

yeah for a while I was just running plants from seed. pollinating lowers and leaving tops for my flower as you said. but I finally got to a point where I have both a pheno hunting area plus a "keeper" rerun area. its kind nice to see plants rerun a couple times. also makes flower production so much easier haha.

I think I also figured out how to upload pics. If you just upload directly to the post as an attachment from the computer it works. kinda sketched me out at first. but shit, it works.

I'm with ya there! The amount of sativa shoots coming off the branches and the fact these are shorter than your real sativa...I'd bet they would be an insane bush. I hope someone does it so i can see!
