Urban Legend 'Mazarilla' Grow in Bio-Bucket

I had to do a few upgrades as one does when growing.

To start I am using 4 bucks & a rez for a RDWC better known as Bio-Buckets.
Each bucket has a 6" net pot for each 5 gal. bucket , later filled with lava rocks.

I added an intake 6" fan with controller because I have plans to add more light to this grow before eventually buying a set of Bar LED for my 5X5 Tent.

This is one of the seed packs in the Urban Legend set.

Genetics : Mazarilla - mazar auto x gorilla auto

I germinated all 5 in hopes to keep 3 or 4 my limit in design.
All 5 came up in 18 hours .. I was very surprised and I had a good feeling on this grow.
I went with my thoughts to get a nice clean straight tap root, by
splitting a rock wool 1" cube and positioning the bean as a coconut with the top at or near top in split cube.

I wanted to get more pictures or get them in the pots .. I chose to surround them in lava rock
as soon as I could.

I will continue this after my break .. lol

Two days after feeding Orca & Myco Chum

Looks nice now and looking for improvements I had not previously seen.
Good color now as well.

It is begging to let out a pleasant smell.

And an hour a day ON in veg with the 2 P450's
while still using 18/6 with the HD High Celling light.

So far , this is looking real nice & on track.

yea don t be shy with the light on them, some grew so close to 600w hps only the scissor stopped it

As promised I got the photos for beginning week 4 .

They are looking nice and look to me they may want more light .. but I am keeping temp about 76F plus the ADDing to rez earlier the Orca and the Myco chum.
I feel I mixed wrong , so I did the math and made tape label to indicate mix amount (for total 24 gal rez & bucket mix) on each bottle and is so easy .. the orca would get about 9 feeds in small bottle , the Myco almost a 1 weak dose .. I can tell cause the tape idea works for me.

Because of the comment .. be it a great suggestion .. I went with a reusable cut out cover for the net pots and thru around some scraps for extra reflection

and penetration.

But back to the last picture.

This is rock bottom my worst so no where else to go from here but up !

I was talking about this diary lay out .. should have read many others before diving in.
I know this system works and is dialed in .. plus I had hoped to show all and better root shot on the tape roots .. something most do no think about before actually putting into soil or medium.

So this is intended to be a bit of all that plus what I can do with this breed .. hope I can get good results other then (as I know I can do ..get a massive root porn shot)
Which is not fair to earth growers .. lol <j/k>

Today I raised the plurple lights from 1 hour a day to 3 hours .. both plurple on same timer and both set to veg. mode.
I am increasing because we are in middle of week 4 from seed.

Watched the temp at middle & end of plurple on .. temps were holding steady.
I think I figured out how to use this new fan in this environment by leaving a top zipper open a bit .. with positive pressure on ten. (also new to me)
I am sorry about photos in tilt .. that bothers me .. I will think to rotate camera maybe.

First row #1 & #2 left to right.

and the back row #3 & #4 left to right.

I gave the last sprout in this 5 pack to a friend so I had something to compare with .. his way and mine.
I am sad to share , she has passed.
He did show me photos of 4 he had sprouted a few days after that.
His are looking tall and lankier , with thin leaf's. Could be genetics plus he is having environment issues.

So I am sure things are spot on .. I think the little lighter green in leaf may just be the light stressing a little .. but at end of this week I should be seeing start of flower so I can reset rez with last feed and checks.

btw the other guys already started flower a few days ago.
I hope to get to master close ups when we get down to that.

as a remember mazarillas started to flower later they grew like hell up to 50 days with preflowers only.
intensive flowering started around 70

Thank you , good to know.
Also just switched over from my powder cal/mag to liquid cal/mag plus.
So next feed at start of flower.
I will dose with another round of micro & orca.
(this time measured right) lol

I was happy with fast boost those gave me in week 3 to 4
