BCN Diesel grow along

Started this thread to document my run of BCN Diesel I will be growing in the rookie aeroflo grow along http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=243325

Started with cutting on 8-6-12 from one mother plant of two I have. This pheno gets larger cylaxes and nice long cola.

For cloning i use rockwool, hormex #8 powder, and ro water at ph 5.6. I cut my clones at a 45 deg angle at the end and lightly scrape the stem before dipping in water then hormex.

I really like the round plug with presplit. Used to use square cubes and had to cut them. Finally a #16 rubber band doubled around plug. Then set in tray with approx 1" of perlite lightly moistened. Cover for a few days.

will wait for all to pop roots and grow a little length into the perlite

Finally got far enough along to put my clones in my unit for veg.

Here are the clones in their new home.

Got my new blue lab ph meter and am very happy. The oakton pos which is almost new was .5 off low when calibrated.

1 Week Veg

Wlll the ladies are starting to take off. Last night pniched off some lower branches. The one in photo is about 7" tall.

Have about 3 that look to be a few days behind the other 22. May not top these 3 but the others will be topped soon.

Roots are looking really healthy.

Well, after last post went ahead and topped all plants 9-1.

Diesel starting do drink nutes down to 420ppm today so topped res with nutes and a little ro water to 480 ppm.

Roots really blasting along.

Well just completed week 2 of veg. Plants were topped as previously stated and on tracking sheet.

Everything going well. Changing res nutes today. Still planning on veg to 16" probably 7 to 10 days away to flower. Plants are currently 7" (shortest) to 9" tall (tallest) and looking excellent.

Boring part I know but thats life growing.

So ending week 3 of veg. Tallest around 14". Everyone looks happy.

Have upped nutes to 550 ppm but still having heavy nute drag.

Mister D, these tracking sheets explain it pretty well. Notice my ppm/tds levels and side notes. During the first 2 weeks the ppms
slowly dropped as the plants consumed nutrients out of the solution.
