Red Spider Mites / Tetranichus urticae on cannabis

The red spider mite (Tetranychus Urticae) on Hemp / Cannabis Sativa L.:

Reminder:
Adults have four pairs of legs, the distinguished feature of this insect. They stand primarily on the underside of leaves, some species spin webs (eg mites weavers) that protect them, their eggs, these paintings together sometimes several leaves of a plant.
Mites are favored by hot, dry, dust, heavy dose of fertilizer (especially nitrogen), as well as chemical interventions poorly designed and implemented. (Source: Record Plant Protection Phytosanitary Service, Ministry of Agriculture)

Here the lower face of the leaf,

there are many points that are translucent white eggs laid by the females, along the midrib of the leaf.
there are also mites (red spider) has several stages. The large female laying is on the left.

Here is the top side of the leaf,

with the typical symptom of the presence of mites, these small bites have done for mites feed on plant sap. These predators epidermal empty the contents, leaves most affected can not ensure their role in photosynthesis ..

And voila, the result of an infestation of red spider Tetranychus urticae.

the bud is completely covered with a spider web.

to fight the tetranychus urticae, you have a excellent solution :

another red spider : the Phytoseiulus persimilis

it's a natural predator of the red spider mite.

you can buy it ont the net, and receive them at home.
