Curing and/or storing different plants together

Have any of you done this? Buds from 2 or more plants in the same jar - maybe in paper bags inside the jar to keep each plant separate. Do you think they maintained their individuality?

I jar buds from the different phenos of the same cross, no worries.

I would not jar plants together that were different parents, natch.

Even when you are trying to judge them against each other to find a keeper?

So you haven't tried jarring plants from different parents together?

Different parents yes. All the time. Blue Dream goes in the same vessel.

Different Strains? Never.

Indica and sativa? Never.

But that's me and most people today. Years ago it all went in a garbage bag after the dry, untrimmed.

Interesting topic. I personally wouldn't do it either, but my reasoning would simply be for identification and organization purposes. I do wonder if they would keep the same profiles than if kept alone. Will try it in a small jar with my next harvest if I remember.

When selecting, I will jar only one cultivar per jar, and not mix parental lines in the same jar.

No reason to jar a thunk with a white rhino, jars are cheap. lol

After selection is known, I'll jar some parental lines together, no worries.

I don't mix cherry with lemon, but cherry diesel with sour cherry is okay.

Otherwise, too many jars. After a couple months it all evens out anyway.

But that's me, I'll also mix cultivars when making hashish, but my gear is mostly hybrids anyway.
