Wedding Cake, Topping Question

Hey all,

I have 2 Photo Fem wedding Cake girls on the go and they are at day 32 from sprout.

Can I top them right now.

History. They had a bad water PH issue. I have trimmed off all the bad leaves and now they are both healthy again. I think I trimmed off 3 nodes.

Now there are another 3 nodes and I just transplanted from solo cups to 5gal fabric pots last weekend (5 days ago)

Do you think I should just leave them as is or top now? And where do I top? Above the 1st node?

Note : This is my 4th grow. I have only topped once before. Previous grows I have done clones and did the LST method.
These girls are from seed and I had a bunch of troubles getting the recipe right. Started with Do Se DO (sp?) and they didn't survive. Once I got these going I had the bad water issue and I'm only now back on track. I wanted to LST plus top the plant a few times. I can't remember the term for that method of growing. But I'm mad late now and not sure what todo.

Any suggestions/criticisms are appreciated.

Thanks,

When one tops a plant there's a slow down because the plant has to heal a wound and re-build and re-route new pathways. There's no need to top a plant unless there is limited space. What I do is allow the plant to grow strong and then I tie the growing shoot down. That way the growth is fastest and less stressful for the plants. Make sure the plants are well hydrated and never bend them when the soil is dry. Be gentle and tie a little at a time until the top is secure. This way there's no downtime and damage done to the plant. Good luck😎
