Sinai dry sift

Alright, finally get to post in the Hashish forum! I had an idea for a DIY tumbler and we finally got some cold weather so I could give it a try. I used 180 micron polyester screen.

This is the result of the trial run to see how she does. Used a couple ounces of Sinai bud. I think it did just fine but may have to do a couple tweaks in the future.

Just came in with run 2. she is cranking out the resin on this fine cold morning. Run 3 is going but temps are climbing so we will see how it goes.

Thanks Paddy. I was thinking of posting a thread about my sifter. It is completely different from anything else out there.

Hi Rambetis, 180 is pretty big for making a clean sift, are those just trichomes or does it have hairs and small green pieces in it, does it compact and get oily when you press it? No hatin here, just wondering. Would love to see Sinai hash before pressing it, must be porn.

I grew some Sinai a couple seasons, i got autoflowering dwarf plants and a sativa leaning plants, the heads were so small but lot of resin and smell for a landrace. Not a very intense flavour but it was nice.

I love making dry sift from landraces, i tried a couple stuff from RSC and did Mazar, Lebanese, Sinai, Kabul and Congo, all them hash were super interesting. The lebanese was amazing. Lebanese is a great yielder, super easy to grow but a lot of phenos smell like lettuce and some are more meaty. Low odor. Although there are some piney and lemony phenos that are super great.

If you are able to get a thinner mesh, like 105 or even 90. you can continously re-sieve till you make it clean, white and shiny.

Regards
