I've grown the Zamaldelica x Kali China previously but it wasn't my best but I did find a mother that I truly enjoy.

Anyways, this grow I'm running ZxK, Orient Express x Nepal Jam, and Bangi Congo x Panama in Growpito Sim mix. Using Mega Crop, optic Foliar, and Growpito Beneficials in a 3x3 flood and drain. Lights are a DIY 3000K Bridgelux EB2 build at 500 watts

Trying out the last two strains and restocking on the first. Four phenos of each and one of the ZxK. These pictures are of day 15 from the start of 11/13.

Appreciate Dubi sending out these limited editions. Hope I'll find some more mothers

I've had some issues and learned a bit since the last Zamaldelica grow. I hope this will be an enjoyable grow for everyone.

This is a day 18 update and I've located some promising phenos. How does the Ace team select promising phenos?

There have been no real issues with any of the strains so I am quite pleased. Though in my veg area one of the Orient Express x Nepal Jam phenos began to flower under 18/6

Looking good in early flowering The Orient Express and Nepal Jam parent plants used in the Orient Express x Nepal Jam limited edition are extremely fast flowering with a bit of semi autoflowering tendencies when they feel root bound. But they are not fully autoflowering as we still keep that indica OE female in our mother room for almost 10 years, and that Nepal Jam parent plant was also kept alive since 2014 until last year when it was replaced with newer and better latest generation Nepal Jam parent plants.

Regarding selection of most promising female expressions. If you are strongly familiarized with the line and current generation/lot you are selecting from then you can detect lots of desirable traits during flowering, although the final decision is always in the puff puff ... so to play safe is better you take clones of all of them and then only keep the ones from best females after smoking tests with good curing.

It is day 24 and earlier this week my meanwell driver went dead. Currently trying to contact Digikey to honor the warranty but in the mean time I'm using a 600w HPS.

Bangi Congo x Panama is going through an N deficiency but otherwise with sailing. Pictures aren't turning out even with post processing so I'll stick to videos untili figure out a solution or receive a new driver. I miss my full spectrum

Currently feeding Mega Crop at a .5EC with some biostimulants and some extras here and there. No pruning but I did veg these clones out for two weeks. Total EC is 1.0 with 5.5 - 6.2 pH swings. Temps have been steady despite the HPS at around 77-79f. Two 20 inch box fans circulate the the air with an AC in the room.

Odours are beginning but nothing distinct though I am proud of my fertilization not causing any burn it other issues and the 3x3 tray being fairly filled out.

Some shots in the dark at day 28. All the Bangi Congo x Panama had a slight N deficiency that I have done my best to rectify with fish hydrolysate. Otherwise no issues and the Orient Express x Nepal Jam is flowering faster than the others.

My new driver arrived in the mail so no more HPS. Currently applying Optic Foliar Overgrow and I have ceased my other Foliar application. Flooding every 3 days.

One of the Orient Express x Nepal Jam lost a few leaves at the bottom but the strain has had no issues otherwise. Bangi Congo x Panama is developing aromas. Zamaldelica x Kali China is developing the coffee aroma I love so much.

Pleased overall but some clones could have been vegged longer. I'm learning lol

Aroma on Bangi Congo x Panama is candy sweet consistently through all the phenos. Zamaldelica is oily this time around and earthy smelling on the fingers. The Orient Express x Nepal Jam has a variety of sweet and musky smells but still not able to completely identify everything.

The Zamaldelica x Kali China is without any doubt a very Kali China purple hashplant indica pheno, super fast flowering.

The Orient Express x Nepal leans towards an Orient Express balanced sativa/indica expression, although the colorful petioles and underside of the leaves have a touch of influence from the purple Nepal Jam F6 parent plant used in this cross.

The Bangi Congo x Panama has the unmistakable long pistils and long fat colas of Panama Goddess, but the flowers are compacting in a quite similar way the Bangi Congo does, a quite balanced expression between both parent plants at this point.

That is incredibly helpful and always a pleasure to have someone with such an intimate knowledge of their strains hanging around.

The first run with this Zamaldelica pheno finished in around 9 weeks. I'm always amazed at the high leaf to calyx ratio with this clone and it just sneaks into flowering compared to the other strains that proudly display their pistils so quickly. The last time I had some pH and nutrient issues so I wasn't able to witness the oiliness or the strong scent.

The Bangi Congo was a bit finicky up to this point with nitrogen but all of them minus one pheno are incredibly resilient with a lot of uniformity in bouquet and growth. I was incredibly excited for this particular strain from the onset though based on everything and I really love the long pistils, reminds me of the Malawi x Panama. Hard to forget my first love lol

I'm guessing I was a bit high when I chose the Orient Express x Nepal Jam as I fail to remember why I chose it. I was able to get the pheno that began flowering at 18/6 to throw side branches after topping her, the clone in flower right now has short internodes and looks to be a dense lady. I like all the phenos as far as growth but the early flower and the large one pictured have my attention and their mothers are thriving.

Day 45

Everything is looking really good.



Zamaldelica x Kali China is growing well compared to last time with dense trichomes. Large fan leaves of the Kali China but I'm not sure of the bouquet. Buds are filling out and getting think. I always love the development of the lower buds that did not lack last time.



Bangi Congo x Panama in very Panama dominate with foxtails and really long pistils. Beautiful thin leaves. I may just find a keeper.



Orient Express x Nepal Jam is fragrant, very sweet and sticky. Good amount of trichomes and these seem to lean towards sativa much more. Height is very manageable.

The OE x NJ indeed looks like has more sativa influence than the indica parent plants used to make this cross, yet still finishing in the 8-9 week flowering range.

The Zamaldelica x Kali China is extremely KC dominant, if you tell me is straight Kali China i would say yes.

I also have the feeling you have a winner among the Bangi Congo x Panamas
Super good looking colas for a sativa after such short flowering time.

Day 55

I'm thinking a week, maybe two, but it's almost done for the Orient Express x Nepal Jam and Bangi Congo x Panama. Leaves are all fading and the aromas are getting more diverse. Colas really fattened and the OExNP is very sticky.

Not all of the Zamaldelica x Kali China are fading at the same rate so lessons learned on cloning. Definitely going for larger cuts to get the most I can from these. Breeder informed me the the ZxK seems all Kali China with no Zamaldelica. Smells like rotten fruit and coffee

Bangi Congo x Panama really surprised me, especially pheno #2 that has bud down the stem. I think there were 6 clones of that pheno, four did not do well but the other two turned out very well. Some great incense and musk smells.
