Could barely listen to this garbage. Basically a bunch of LP shills trying to figure out how to force more people to buy their trash weed. And lets connect child porn with the black market too?? wtf is this shit

The problem with LPs is they went in too big, too fast without doing major thinking for long term.
Now that more and more people are getting legal and growing their own. Less people are buying
their garbage weed. It was like a Gold Rush and investors are gonna pay for their mistakes.

The review starts . . . have your say!

Here is the consultation website from the government. You can fill in a form or send them an email.

Consultation on guidance on personal production of cannabis for medical purposes

Health Canada invites Canadians to share their perspectives on the factors that may be considered for refusal or revocation of a registration on public health and public safety grounds. These factors are set out in the draft guidance on personal production of cannabis for medical purposes.

So much freshly printed moolahs looking for a home. People investing in commercial dope grows and processing, and having to sell 50 cents on the dollar shortly thereafter.

These stimilis checks will flow into growing supplies IMO, and demand for commercial bunk will level off.

I can see why you think that, but you have to realize the ratio of smokers to the public is very very low. Even more so for growers. I think it's a drop in the bucket. And a tiny one at that.

I stepped through the online submission form (and the associated draft guidance) to see what they are digging for. They seem to be focused on 2 main factors: the integrity of the Health Care Practitioners who prescribe and the legality of designated growers. This gives us an indication of where they will mess with the act.

They will tighten the requirements for Health Care Practitioners that can prescribe - to stop the $s per gram Skype crowd.

They will probably establish an inspection regimen for large scripts - especially large script designated growers.

It seems they would like to limit the organized crime element as there are loads of these types of grow operations in greenhouses, warehouses that get shut down then open up again exceeding the limits etc breaking more and more of the plant numbers etc.

I did fill out the survey and pointed towards the lps wanting to shut down anyone but them to grow, as well. The illegal doctors and investigation questions about the doctors was strange but it seems the clinics and doctor advertising the limits are in the radar.

I don't know how they will expect to change the rules so easily just imposing them as they will have to go back to court I imagine. They will try to limit the plant numbers for sure, how they will afford the inspections if they want to is a different story unless they want to take it from the lps to pay for the time and personnel to do it will be interesting.

They also brought up the national average of medical users buying from the lps is 2 grams per day and the average home medical grower has 36 grams per day. They have stated that 2 grams per day is what the medical users need based on clinical studies which cannot be considered valid in my opinion as the clinical trials haven't been properly done due to legality issues or from the segment of the population who uses more than 2 grams per day. They still haven't dealt with the over prescription of opioids which would make more sense to deal with first imo.

Long story short the LP's are losing millions and they see the medical licencees as easy targets to get to buy their shitty commercial garbage. So they are clearly lobbing the govt to clamp down on these big licences. Hc is already rediculously understaffed so adding anymore scrutiny to licences or doctors etc will require hiring alot more staff. FFS they cant even get a registration done in 2 months anymore.

Well, from what I am reading the LPs are not the only ones who want a crackdown. The RCMP, Provincial, Municipal police are itching to stomp around illegal green pastures. The Conservative Party is making noise about it and they are trying to turn it into an issue. These 3 'interested parties' are all feeding the press.

Plant limits are bullshit, but my 29 plant exemption allows me to get away with my YouTube channel the University of Cannabology, Saskatoon. As anyone can see, I'm not even using all of my exemption, although I'd love to expand a bit, to say nothing of doing some autoflowers outside this summer. Come watch my grass grow, like and subscribe!
