    Genesis 1:29 (KJV)
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Matthew 28:18-20 King James Version (KJV)
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

In Hemet CA (inland empire) there ws one little dive dispensary on Hwy 74. It closed. The delivery service (Da Spot) has better deals and it arrives on your driveway in no time. But what are you getting?

As for the economy, there is the free printed economy for them, low wage high infltion economy for the rest of us. IMO dope is priced by the law of supply and demand, with a little LE activity to tip the scales in favor of demand.

I don’t know about the next time around, but I can say I did just fine in 2008. With the new laws however, it may finally start to hit the smaller guys. A lot has changed. I would guess that black markets particularly in prohibition states will also be just fine. Being unemployed doesn’t stop folks from seeking relief and relaxation.

People don't smoke less Cannabis during a recession.

Especially if they're laid off and have more sofa time.

There's plenty of Cann. start-ups that over did it with the debt so that will strangle them if "industry revenues" collapse.

The Gifting Industry is going strong.

Recession hits us all in different ways. I'm sure it will impact both small and large growers in one way or another, as it impacts the consumer. Now how much that impact will be is unknown. Too many variables.

I do know that weed will get you through times with no money better than money will get you through times with no weed.

I also know it won't impact me much one way or the other.

Well ya, for the pump n dump scammers. MedMen isn’t exactly the little guy. It’s a multi million dollar operation that’s running on investor cash through stock dilution practices. Im not sure they’ve ever been profitable as a company. The two dudes that started it are living like playboys flying in private jets, writing million dollar bonuses for themselves, and hemorrhaging cash that came from eager investors.

Just like other vices in a recession- gaming, alcohol, tobacco, cannabis- looking for lower cost, finding a deal has always been there in a recession.

And yes, all indicators point towards recession. Even though economy 'seems' to be strong, wages have not increased much and utilities, rent, mortgages continue to climb.

Any thoughts on Biden's proposed $15 minimum wage? I can see it as good and bad. Good because it's hard to get by on less than that. Bad because some people just aren't worth that much as workers due to poor work ethic or whatever. Hard on a small business owner trying to hire help for simple work that they really can't afford to pay more than ten for.

Good to help bring the poorest working folks up to a better standard of living. Not so good when companies have less money to pay for advancement, because more wages are going to entry level workers.

Will the extra earnings from a $15 minimum wage boost the economy? Will it hurt the economy? I know it would improve my wallet. Does it even stand a chance of happening?
