timer that does seconds for drip application

looking for a programmable timer that will go to seconds.

I know of the ART timers and I actually own one. I also know of the Sentinel DRT. the issue with these is they recycle, and are not truly programmable to specific times.

What if I want to drip for 45 seconds, every 3 hours during lights on, but only once during lights off. Or sync up to when lights come on

What are most of you drip guys/gals doing? Just going xx seconds every yy hours regardless of light schedule?

would it be that much of a difference if you were using a minutes timer? I don't see such a big difference from a extra 15 seconds drip.
and then you could use any electronic timer that has multiple separated timers that can be set up at once.

just my :2cents:

im after the exact same thing. Come on 3 times a day for 20secs, high pressure open ended drip lines so every second counts.

Now the big question here to me is why do you want to drip at night. I run trees in five gally bucket full of hydroton and I have never had a problem not dripping a night. Maybe if you didnt worry about running the system at night you would have a easier time finding a timer. If you really need to run the irrigation at night check out a landscaping irrigation timer they are completely programmable.

Or just use the ART that you already have and attach the ART to a regular timer and have it cut power to the ART when lights are off.
