I recently picked up a CMH light on eBay.

Problem is that it’s a 277 volt light and I don’t really have a lot of experience with that.

Is it possible to run it on either 120v or 240v? Any help is welcome. If I need to I can return it, but I was thinking there might be a way to open it up and switch it over.

I just got this back from the company;

Unfortunately the electronic ballast inside those particular models are only designed to handle 277v power signals. They cannot be dropped to 120v. In doing so the units will fail to turn on.

So I guess the options are find a new ballast or figure out how to make 277v work

Dude plug that shit in and you good to go. It says right on the box 120-240v. And its got a regular grounded 3 prong wall plug too boot.
