Papaya

So finally decided to move my Nirvana Papaya cuts into the flowering room last night or more was forced to by mould :(

I was hoping they would grow a bit more first but there is a blatant lack of light now which in turn caused the mould so not a great start but I'm pretty sure they will recover minus the two I lost :(

They eating the Canna range minus CannaBoost since it costs lots and I don't know how much it will benefit me

You should know that I'm probably one of the laziest growers you will ever meet! I got complacent over time then fell out of my routine and now my ability to procrastinate simple tasks is starting to take it's toll on my grows, but recently I have vowed to change all this so please nag me if you see me slacking!

Hi man,
Well it certainly looks like things didn't work out too badly for ya man, I'm pleased.

Reading through the thread it seems like you have learned a few things about this strain for next grow, I think most people need a couple of grows of any strain new to the garden?....I know we do

what you have pictured there looks really nice and resinous so the Papaya we did & yours definitely have that in common

Quote:
very fruity and is a comfy high
From what I can remember that pretty much sums it up, I like that warm, content feeling some bud gives you

Lookin forward to a pic of your Papaya mum, she sounds like a well established plant!

If I remember it was a bit expansive on the lungs (good) but un-cured it would give you that tickly cough.....little wonder when you look at the resin on those buds tho huh

Well bud, hope you didn't loose too much to the dreaded mould. there's an oscillating fan on pretty much 24/7 in our main flowering room which helps but that's not to say we are immune and still keep an eye open!

Enjoy my friend and keep it green!

Regards, Esskie

@Esskie: Cheers dood! Yeah I sure have! I won't be treating it like my original pheno that's for sure and now understand why I had issues I hadn't before

Missed her in the pics tonight so tomorrow when I take a pic of my new prop light

Yeah too tickly for my friends hehe, more for me

Yeah the mould is a pest but the oil I made from the first lot of rot tasted worth the loss I just hope I don't inhale too much rot processing the rest from this any my other room, looking for something sane/cheap to grind it all with. I'm gonna double my fans in my other room too and keep things clear of the back wall in this one

Think it will be one of the two front ones, not the dead/recovering cuts. They grew fast and starved of water on the timings I had compared to the rest, still my fault tho

I'd have chosen the clones you have too man, they have came through the process much better than their 'sisters'. do you clone manually btw, I mean the traditional method.......regular prop, misting bottle etc,?

I was gonna suggest using the botrytis damaged stuff to make bubble or BHO with but your one step ahead of me bro

it is really tickly on the throat at the moment yes?, the pics of the bud certainly look like it'd catch your throat with the amount of resin on em but on the same note will cure to smoke like taking a breath of fresh air.......that tastes hashy/fruity lol
They both have that in common it seems anyway?

Something to grind up all the mouldy bud or mouldy bud and leaf, stem etc too you mean?
you could just remove the thicker stalk, give it a rough chop up & use it for bubble could you not?

@Esskie: Cheers dood! Yeah I clone them manually just sat on top of the prop like the seeds in the middle really but I usually have the lid on and the light a bit closer to aid in making it a lil steamy for the plants

I used to mist but the mister bottle broke and I haven't needed it since. I cant use the aeroprop straight away as it puts out a lot! of water and the cubes stay water logged but if I was using them neoprene caps I guess I could but then I'd struggle getting them into rockwool cubes for my NFT :(

Yeah I lost just a small bit the first time I ran my swazi so learnt in a random way(you'd think I'd learn to stop the rot not process it hehe).

It is a little tickly! Not as bad as last time thank god but it needs some curing, feels kinda hot? Might be the little water left in it. I often find overcured tho it gets tickly again or it did on the last lot, maybe I'm just wacking more in a spliff

I think I'm gonna buy a cheap food blender from tesco or some ish. Can't make bubble since I need alcohol to kill the spores really but for the ISO I found it was better to grind it real powdery while it's real dry, not sure about BHO this will be my second go and last time I didn't do very well. I hear if I make it too powdery it clogs the filter a bit so bigger chunks are better but then does the butane penetrate properly to take out all the trichs?

@facelift: Cheers man! I bet they will!

I gifted some cuts of this too so will try report on how they are doing

Root trimmed the existing mother today and snapped her a little bit so she has been splinted with rizla

I put all the cuts to be gifted together

Left a spare in my aero prop
