what is best way to hook up blower to reflector

I'm not sure which question you're asking so I'll answer both.
If the hood lacks a flange to attach a hose, you'll have to add one yourself. See if the hood has a pop-out panel or other accomadation. If not, you'll have to cut a hole
If it's the old "square peg in a round hole" trick, they make adaptor plates. Any hydro store can supply either.

Better to pull. Connect intake to the hood, exhaust to the exit vent. Or you can put the fan outside the cab. Connect hood to exit vent, exit vent to intake.

You'll have to excuse me as I've never used a squirrel cage. If round is in and rectangular is out, then that will do just fine.
