Befri's 2K Basement Grow

Well here I go again. Third grow this year and some changes since the first grow. I opened up my 8x12 room for all flowering, and added a GL150 wide for the veg(flood and drain with 6" net pots) under the T-5 8 bulbs! Moved some fans around for venting the tent into the flower room which is sealed with a 15M BTU a/c. CO2(gas) on a monitor to give the extra CO2 in the room. I had lots of issues with heat in my first grow. Since then I have worked out the bugs and ready to rock some kick ass strains. I have been vegging my plants for at least 2 months. I cut clones before the plants go into flowering, then let them veg till the plants in flowering are done. I don't keep any mothers at this time.

2000watts air cooled
ebb/flow buckets
CO2 enriched 1400ppm

strains:
Lemon Kush
AK47
ICE

LUCAS FORMULA with Kool BLOOM(powder) and some Kelp extract!

Started this batch on Oct 28th. into flowering!!

Vegging plants

Sweet tooth#3 x Black Russian donated from a fellow grower!!

ROOT PORN(pic taken with camera phone) AK47 transferring into Flowering

Plants in Flowering 5 days of flowering

thanks guys!!

You know I really think that the kelp helped me out with the root growth. Reason for me saying is that I grew the ICE last time and this time. Only thing different is that that I added the kelp extract. The plants started to take off with bigger leaves, and way more root growth. I'm going to add some KELP to the flowering today, and let it run for 1-2 wks then flush rez. Then add in the lucas formula and add in KOOL BLOOM.

Oh I did use BUSHMASTER on the 4 of the LEMON KUSH before I added in all the rest of the plants. I keep one LEMON KUSH without BM to see the difference. I heard that LEMON KUSH tends to stretch a little bit. My last grow I did NL x WW cross and it was soo stretchy. Didn't like that strain so I stopped it.

Here is the ICE from the last grow

Everything is looking great! Looks like it is going to be a nice big grow again. That vegg tent looks quite full too, LOL. You might want to use the bushmaster on the citrus pheno of the ST#3XBR. It is a real stretcher too. The other pheno has very little stretch which is nice since it only increases in height by about 20% during flowering so you can vegg it really big and not have to worry about it getting out of control.
Rock on brother, you have your hands full.

Hey Mist!! Welcome Bro!

Well I added the rest of the plants for this 8wk adventure!! Going to cut clones and purn these babies up in the next week to two!!

Total of 18 plants under 2k, they have been vegging for about 2months height is at 36-40". I have tried to keep the canopy even thru vegging. The ICE grows very short, I think I could easily fit 10-12 ICE under 1 light it would be a perfect SOG in these buckets! This time I didn't top any of the ICE to see what kind of spears we get. Last time I topped twice.

The Lemon KUSH, and the ICE/Crystal cross I made by accident were bumped with Bushmaster for 3 straight days at 2mil a gallon before adding any other plants. The Rez was rinsed and refilled with LUCAS formula with 5mil/gal of KELP extract.

The ICE/Crystall cross was started from a seed that I had in my first grow. It has been sexed and I'm interested in seeing how that turns out. The ICE is covered in Trichs...and the crystal is good yielder. The crystal is a Northern lights x White widow....very sativa, and a heavy citrus/diesel smell. ICE is a sweet smell, and taste with dense buds. So we see what we end up with!

The AK47 has been known to yield good and finish fast. IT cloned very fast with tight noides and extreme root growth. I really like this strain so far, and can't wait to see how she yields and smokes!!

I still have these strains to grow out:

BPP(cocktail frank's Straw Diesel x ssh x abusive ogk) seeds http://icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=85804

Skywalker(dutch passion) feminized seeds

Sweet tooth#3 x black russian(in veg now)

Purple Kush(in veg now)

I'm not really sure which strain I will continue with from this flowering session. So many to choose from, and not enough space!! HAHA!! That is soon to change.....UPGRADE coming soon......

Some pic updates...nothing really exciting yet!!

Hey GREENATIK......thanks!!

The platform is so the buckets drain empty(ebb&grow CAP system). I use to have issues with the roots when the water would sit in the bottom 2" or so of the bucket after it went thru the feed cycle. Caused some root rot do to lack of O2. I raise the "master" bucket up 2" for the first couple of weeks....until the root growth is real good...then lower back down on the ground for the rest of the grow. It has worked really good for me last grow.
