I just dropped two new strains into the mix.
TRC's Sweet Dirty Widow - (Sweet Tooth #3 x Mountain Filth) x Widow Sharon. I think. (CC or Bacchus please clarify if I'm wrong)
Art's Blend - The strain has some asian sativa, mexican sativa, some skunk, and afghani all in the mix. Humbolt County, CA breeders special. All the info I have on this one. (PNW could clarify some more maybe)
I dropped 6 of each in the lucky shot glasses
So, we're off to the races

Well if it isn't the ala carte bud man. You gotta love that damn shot glass Tex all the lovely bud that has been born in the thing would supply my state for a year, looking forward to the show. Finally went back to the office (I hate work) good thing I own it a six month vacation to learn how to grow bud is not well accepted in most cases  But at least I had a good mentor to show me the ropes. And yes Tex The girls are doing fine and look forward to showing off your teachings at harvest time. I predict 20 ounces at least and all because you taught me how to fish. YOU THE MAN TEX. But I gotta say (TRC's Sweet Dirty Widow) she sounds like a mean bitch I hope her name fits her.

Hey TK,
Is that a new strain from TRC? I've heard of sweet widow lavender, but not the filth. I've got a pack of their monkeysnooze(viet blk x blueberry). Been interested in more of their seeds but can't find a source with cannabids down. Can you point me in the right direction?

That Sweet Dirty Widow sounds like a delicious strain. :yummy: I would love to try thier Sharon.
Some one correct me if i'm wrong, but it looks like TRC will be selling their seeds on thier own. This is from a post at CW on September 18th, 2004.
At this time there are only medical sales available due to the recent order from Compassionate Caregivers. We are not set up yet for Online sales until the webmasters in all corners says so. As soon as the webfront is open, regular seed company business will take place using a new and unique service provided by a leader in the industry and friend of the community. Sorry about any confusion, but this is a difficult project that is gaining steam at a rapid pace. For all of you have been patient, a special gift will be waiting! That is the scoop for now. Thank you for your interest in the TRC. Joe@TRC
deltamike21: I've grown SWT#3, good yield and a super sweet smell.

KBB, Cannabids was the place, the only place I have seen their genetics available for sale and even that was short live. Every once in awhile some pop up. Monkey Snooze is on my list for sure. check here with the quickness and ya might luck out and find some of the following.
Blueberry F4 (from DJ Short's stock) Bred for the more indica side of things... Very dense and potent!
Monkey Snooze Vietnamese Black (land race variety!!!) crossed to Blueberry.
Sweet Tooth#3 Lonestar's reworking of Breeder Steve's awesome st3 strain.
Sweet Tooth#3xSweetTooth#4 I've grown this before, very interesting, devcent yields, but the taste and high are out of this world (as with any TRC strain).
Gold Monkey I assume this is his Santa Marta Gold crossed to the Monkey Snooze.
BlueSugarBerry Not totally positive, but sounds like one of his sweet tooth crossed to his Blueberry. If so, this is an exciting one for sure!!!
These are not going to be widely distributed from what I understand but there are going to be some go out.
I don't know if ya can get the Blue 13 or Sweet Wiidow Lavender that he was offering on Cannabids.
CC, I think that predates Cannabids starting up and going down. I think they are refering to the Cannabids project with optimism at that point only to have it go down.

For having so many different strains in it's linage, the Arts Blend you have going looks pretty uniform to me, TK. Correct me if I'm wrong but something with so many hybrids in it typically throws off more variations and phenotypes, doesn't it?

Hola Amigo,
Your description is close. TRC's Sweet Dirty Widow - (Sweet Tooth #3 x Mountain Filth) x Widow Sharon.
But I think this cross predated the Sharon find. I believe the Mountain Filth was an ozzie strain.
If you do half as good a job with these as you did with the Bluetooth.....watch out.
Either way you are in store for some resin dripping sweet smelling flowers. Have fun and keep us updated.

The Art's Blend went 5 for 5 males. No more or less stress on them than with any other strains I am running side by side.
When the sprouted I had one that just shot through the roof and four were a little slower but all uniform. I thought cool the renegade plant is going to be my male and the 4 uniform short stocky plants are going to all be females(at least that's what my experience told me)
I put all into flower at about 6 or 8 weeks of veg from seed. The first crazy plant showed nuts in about 5 days so again I thought killer, the last four are all going to be female plus they were not showing sex at all at 10 days which is another positive sign usually for me.
After the first showed the next was 7 days later and they were nuts and then one after another, nuts, nuts, and more nuts. Very pretty young fellas but fellas none the less.

Damn Tex I feel your pain I pulled 9 males out myself last night. Replaced them with 6 of my moms so that puts me at your makinc number of 18. I tell ya with using Female Seeds beans my first run I only had 2 males out of 25 plants. I fell they might be on to something. Tex I tell ya that was the best quote ever "they were pretty plants they just had balls" and they weren't good enough for our GIRLS anyway.

Hi there Texas Kid,
been reading this thread and i just realized that you got 5 males from 5 seeds. shit man thats quite amazing in a way. its probably just as difficult to get 5 males out of 5 seeds as it would be to get 5 females from 5 seeds.
what a pain though eh? what will ya do with the males?
peace and good growings

Man, some of that old bad karma coming back to haunt me.
I fried everything that wasn't strong as an ox last night. I went out to put a new light setup in my cloning area, high as shit I might add, and turned off the pumps and fans so I would make a mess or get electricuted. You guessed it, I forgot to turn the pumps and fans back on and it crispy fried everything that was a clone or seedling.
I lost 2 prized clones that were a gift from a member, 5 trainwreck clones, 5 willie nelson clones, 5 sweet dirty widow seedlings(presexed), 1 NLK clone, and a few other assorted little babies.
Damn, I am one dumb stoner eh? don't answer.
Good thing I have everything in different areas so I didn't loose everything.

WoW TK... damn man... sorry for your loss.
I recently changed a res... scrubbed it all out real well... put everything back in place... and forgot to reconnect the hose to the table... I went about 36 hours without flooding the table. Fortunately, other than a little drooping... all seemed to come right through it.
I guess I need to find a way to keep my stoned ass out of the garden... *laffin*

I see room for a new product an interlock of sorts , no moisture for a certain length of time and off go the lights. Thats the problem with pure Hydro, in 4hrs even a pro can loose a whole crop. But the growth rate has to be witnessed. Once you see a clone grow 2&3 inches a day it's hard to get out of your head.We all do it, but hurts when you kno better. You know it's cause the product is too good .
