Ready for harvest?

What do you guys think, should I chop? She's C99 at 61 days grown 12/12 from seed. Pretty much all of the trichomes are cloudy and there's about 5% that are amber. They are actually more orange than amber, but there's a few that are darker than the others.

Only 30% or so of the pistils have died off, but I know that's not a good sign of ripeness. The health of the plant has been degrading for the past week or so as well.

I know it's personal preference, but I'm looking for some more opinions since this is my first grow. I am however looking for more of an "up" high with not so much of the couchlock. I have taken some samples and it's quite to my liking, and very potent, but I'm not sure if it's gonna get better.

Also, since this is 1 of 2 plants, I was thinking of chopping this one now or in a couple days and waiting a bit longer for the other.

yeah that second shot looks awesome. I would probably chop now as well.
Please keep us updated on how she smokes, tastes and smells. Any idea which strain it is?

i dont know theres still seems to be lots of white hairs for there to be amber trics i would think. my indicas dont show amber trics untill 75-80% red hairs, when you go 12/12 from seed do you really count the 1st 10-14 days of the seedlings life ??? this is the plants devolopment stage.

how long from seed was it you seen flowers packn on 25-30 days??

what do you use to check the trics and how do you inspect them on plant or a snipit leaf tip on white card. wouldnt want you to chop early she looks like she's just begun her final swelling with them little sprials building on the buds. she'll do that for 10-14 days n/p and pack on some more weight and mature little more.

oh as for you sayn the plants health is going down hill what do you mean ??? whats happening leaves starting to yellow ???

if so thats a natural part of the plants life and if your temps are cool enough they will purple up during this yellowing process. i have a few purple strains that purple up in 80+ temps

if you dont need the smoke let her sit a couple more weeks, that is if you like a knock out high, if not chop the bitch

Give it another 6-7 days. I hope you watered with Molassas for the last few waterings.

I saw the first pistils around day 19, so I suppose it's been flowering for about 40 days. I'm not really sure how it works tho when you grow 12/12 from seed.

Also, I'm looking at them on the plant using a 30x loupe. The trichomes are definitely starting to change amber. Theres more amber trich's on the small leaves than the calyxs, and I see quite a few of em in a group, and other places there's none.

yup, even though I only completed my first one, i'm right there with all..

Cut the timber. or you'll be sorry, I waited cut, then waited then cut 5 days latter and got a bunch of little pain in the ass seeds. They were hard to smoke around, didn't effect the quailty to much, other than lame seed oil.

But ya, trying to get more isn't always right when it's done it's done.
