After some info on No pest strips

Hi guys
Probs some of you have seen that i am after some No pest strips...
Living in the UK tho there not for sale here,nor can u get them shipped here...Someone has offered to send me some(wont say his name)But i dont like to nag....

So i am wondering if i have come up with a alternative...I dont expect it to work.And if it does it wont be as effetive i am sure...but hell got to try diff things....


Anyway what i have come up with are(Lol dont laugh for to long)Cat Flea collar....

I know Mites aint fleas(Who knows how close they are tho)
And my thinking on the collar is it must emite some Mild poison to kill the fleas?

All it says it contains is
"Each collar contains 456mg of permethrin technical(Cis:Trans 40:60)Which is a pyrethroid."

Dont make much sense to me,but does it contain the same things as the no pest strips at all?

Yep kinda guessed it would have a diff main ingredient(IE the poison)COz Whatever the poison is in the NPS is banned in europe

But i was hopeing there would be some(side additive or somit)That would be common in both...Effectivly they both do the same thing?
As in they both Give off poison(just diff types/amounts )

since you can't get the strips i'd recommend sticky fly traps. i get invaded by fungus gnats a couple times a year. they work great. good luck.

Have you even asked yourself WHY they are banned? The chemicals in them are first cousins to nerve gas! Do you really want that on your bud? A poison so powerful that it can kill by vapors alone? I'm an American, and as a rule, Americans are absolute fools! Our food is killing us, and we have little care about our environment or our health, except to buy another pill to cure our self-made ills. (I'm not even going to go into why we are fools, politically!) Europe is right to ban pest strips and other American "delights". Get some neem oil from the drug store or health food store- it works slower, but it works with repeated applications. Do a little research on it, it's an amazing tree. When locusts go through India, Neem trees are the only thing left that is green! It messes with the bugs digestion and really screws up their hormones to kill them slowly. :woohoo: Granny's advice to you is grow organically, and get a vaporizer to protect your health!

And i am trying a natural method as we speak(Set Preditor bugs on the mites)
And yep in future i will be usein nautural/organic type As a cure.And keeping things clean as a prevention....

However on this grow i am about 3 weeeks from harvest,So trying to avoid any Type of foilar application....


With regards to useing them
The plan on useing them,Would be for a few days on and off for 2 weeks(Putting it in a bag after use(as was suggested in other threadds)

I would not feel right in leaving it in there AS a prevetative measure..They would only be used when there is no other choice(ie last few weeks of flower))

if you have fungus gnats, just get those mosquito dunks tablets, break them into 1/3, and dissolve one into a gallon of water and water your plants with that. it's completely safe (unlike no pest strips), and works like a charm.

I'd be careful with tobacco juice. Essentailly you are concentrating nicotine and applying it to your buds. Nicotine is very potent so unless the concentration of your juice is equal to the dose you would receive in one cigarette or one pipeful of tobacco then you could be smoking in too much nicotine. You'd actually have to figure out the concentration of nicotine spread out over an area to give you a dose concentraion per inhaled hit of bud.
