Well my cindy '99 's lower leafs are a bit yellow from the tips to the middle of the leaf (those right above the cotyledons), I gave her very little little dose of fish emulsion today (like 1/10th dose) because I think she might need some ferts. Here's a pic

She is 16 days old, I only gave her distilled water so far

What else could it be? Maybe she is a strain that loves high doses of nitrogen? :chin:
Should I be worried? I don't want to take any risk because this was my last female c'99 seed

Thanks

Well the plant is definativly stress, when its takin its own strength out of its self. Gotta tell more, is your grow medium pre-mix or peat or etc.? Any ferts? Just to eliminate any of many possibilities, I'd just remove allllll the soil and get a good prmix and slightly aireate it. In time then, problem will be solved.

Grow medium is organic universal potting soil, slightly pre-ferted

dry material: 20%
organic material: 10%
pH(water)-zone: 5-6.5
EC: 750μ/cm
Fertilizer NPK 14-16-18: 0.8 kg/m³

The fish ferts I'm gonna use have NPK 5.4-3.5-1

Thanks, so it's certain she's lacking nutrients? I noticed this today too in the Super Thai x Skunk, which is also a sativa dominant plant hmmmm

okay, ordered pH meter

Is it also possible the yellowing happens from transplanting too late? The roots had reached the bottom I saw today and I transplanted the plant

Mine always yellow when it wants to be transplanted. They usually like to be in their containers 2-3 weeks before next transplant. I'd just transplant into a mix with lots perlite and some dolomite lime.

Sproutco....man, you sure share the knowledge....thanks.

Dre86.....I think you have made the best move by buying a ph meter.....just make sure you get some calibration solution 4 and 7. These are used to make sure your meter is reading properly. I've noticed a definite drift after a couple weeks of use...sometime off by as much as .60. I'm sure these is also affected by the quality of the meter, but something to keep in mind nonetheless. Good luck.
