i usually put them in jiffy pellets or directly in moist soil

Cool man.. I've never used the paper towel before. Had to try something though, these seeds weren't crackin.

i put them in peat pellets or jiffy pellelts. then w/ roots grow through i plant it in a small pot w/ soil.

Scratching your seeds with an abrasive like very fine sandpaper before soaking may improve your germination.

Why use peat pellets? Plant them directly in the soil...

Wait till the tap root gets to about 1cm long and plant directly into soil, dont bother wasting time with jiffy pellets if you intend to plant into soil anyway.
