Thanks. Some kid on IC just PM'd me saying how stupid I was for spending $300+ for ounces of headies when he said I should instead spend half that and get beasters, which he claims are a 6 or 7 out of 10(quaility wise), and blueberry is an 8, NL is a 9.

A friend of mine bought two lbs of Sour D in NYC about 4 months ago. He then proceeded to get incredibly wasted and hang out in a park at some godawful hour in the morning...by himself. Given that he was extremely inebriated, I have few details as to what happend, but basically two thugs came up to him and took his backpack. After that as he put it, "somehow I got my backpack back, and it was empty" (Don't know if Ive ever been that out of it in public... maybe a festival) When talking to him I said, "Damn, how much did that set you back, like $7,000".... no folks... THE AMOUNT HE PAID WAS $12000. I swear the craziest shit happens to this kid. (comes from living a quite literally crazy lifestyle)

What have we learned: Grow instead of buying cause shit is way overpriced, and don't put yourself in sketchy-ass situations.

I think what we learned is if you are hanging out in the park getting wasted after scoring with 2lbs in your backpack (in NYC, no less), and not going straight home to stash the bud in a very safe place, then you are a moron.

I would consider 350 US standard for an oz. of decent weed. I couldn't imagine paying anything less for a quality strain like NL. A lot of the Kush here in SoCal goes for 400-500 an oz, and 5000-6000 a pound. What are people paying for an 1/8th? I pay anywhere from 40-70 depending on quality.

the law here is very soft, you can find weed at every corner of the street. thats why it doesnt cost so much. the law in the states obliges you to sell at a higher price because the risk is that you might end up in jail. i aleady saw on the news a guy and his 20 year old daughter get caught with 1000 pot plants in his basemeant and they only had to pay a fine no prison time.
i imagine that the guy who sold the pot at this price there, if he is the one who grows it he can become rich with just pot, its crazy. by the way the bud in your photo look really good, it really looks like m39.
in the est of the states there is a lot of pot that comes from Quebec.I read in the newspaper that its not British Colombia but its Quebec that is the biggest exporter of pot to the states in contrary to what the rest of the world thinks.
