Hi Guyz n Galz...i`ve recently sprouted 8 outa 10 top 44 seeds...prob is this..i`m on a ec of around 1 but the leaves are yellowing and dying off..i`ve upped the ec to 1.4 and the upper leaves seem to be the normal gorgeous green colour...thing is surely ec of 1.4 is far too strong for month old seedling?? i`ve vegged n flowered the glorious white widow on an ec of 1 right through the grow with superb results, but the top44 i`m new to..
I`ve read in many forums that we should always read the dilution instructions and then half it for young plants.
Anyone any ideas.?
P.s. i`m using bio-power A+B as base nutes and a drop or 2 of superthrive per 114 litre mix.

You need to provide more info, and some pic's would help too, how big are the plants and what PH are you running them at?
Peace

Hi m8, i think i`ve solved the problem, i`ve put all the babies in a hydrovator system with an ec of 1.2 and a ph of 5.8...all the new growth seems spot on.
The plants are around the 5/6 inch mark now.
Thanx for the reply.. :)

5.2-5.8 PH is spot on for hydro.
Stinger glad you're all set up. I had no problems with my Top44 seeds, and I didn't feed them until they were two weeks old. At about 40 days I was topping off my buckets with a ec of 2-2.5 and the Top44 girls wre eatin it up.
Good luck...

Cheers for the replys guyz....although i`ve never used an ec as high as :yoinks: 2.2/2.5 for any breed of plant...i`ve taken white widow all the way on around 1.2/1.4 with superb results. and the glorious belladonna was pretty similiar.

Yep them systems look mighty impressive, ive wanted one since they brought them out. I like things simple though, so I'll leave it for the moment. anyone tried the Wilma drip system, looks as simple as it could get

Growell... they had a few problems with the old fuzz following people home from their car parks and busting them .... by the way mate topp44 will take it all its a hungry plant make no mistake just not too good a high...

ye well thats silly sods who go direct from the growshop to the growhouse isnt it..... I order online to a totally unrelated addy with no grow activity.... Ive never once gone from a growshop to the grow directly, that is just common sense...

High again guyz...this is 2 Monkey..i`ve had the wilma systems and they are superb..although a little crowded...i had 2 8 pot systems and a 10 pot..if ya keep em small they are superb...and as for the hydrovator systems...if u like things simple then this is the answer...as long as u have a bit of space they really excel...start em off under 1 light and as they grow spread em and give em some more light...setting up is a bit of a pain in the arse ie-the floor ur using must be dead level...and the pipes can be a little confusing at first but once ur over the main set up and try a few dry runs without the tomatoes in the system, ur away...growell advocate using a 10 minute flood every 4 hours for smaller plants, in my personal view a 10 min flood every 2na1/2 hours is perfect...u want any more info on these beauties let me know..
