some of the leaves on the oxacan and the 8kxg13 are curling up at the eges, could this be too much nutrient or the light too close too them (400w 16 inches away approx). any comments would be welcomed.
peace.

also i have noticed this on a few leaves on different plants, i think it may be water damage.

Did you say humidity was at 70% ?

IMHO that is way too high, I keep my humidity around 30% and I would even like it lower. I have found in my ladies the lower the humidity the stickier the buds.

*waves HIGH!* Nice selection you have started there... *smiles* and as for a grow medium... Coco is well... lets just say that I myself am so wild about Coco... you could possibly call me a coconut. ha ha ha

You are feeding them how? drippers... or by hand? And yes, looks to me that perhaps you need to back off on the nute levels... but if you dont mind... lets get some silly questions answered first... then maybe we all get a better understanding.
okies?

what ppm is your solution?... and are you using a Rez... or "drain to waste?" How old is your solution... if you are recirculating? PH levels of your solution? And last ... have you flushed the coco with just plain water during your grow thus far?

Thanks for sharing what you have going... looks like a very fun summer ahead for you *grins* Best wishes toward a SAFE and HUGE harvest ahead... *waves bye* Aki

i am feeding with canna a+b solution, it recommends ph of between 5.4 and 6.4 and to use 20ml per 5 litres of water. i am lowering the nute level to 15ml. i have used plain water for 1st feed when transfered into current pots, also when leaves began to curl up i fed with plain water. they now seem to be progressing well and no more leaves are curling up. i am doing everything by hand and dont have an ec tester. i will post pics tonight, thanks for the feedback.

........looked over your babies, and as sharp pain said, 70% humidity is to high, runnin that humidity may give you problems with mold later on with big buds,

on the leaf curl........clawing of the leaf, burnt leaf tips, corresponds with high nutes, which im not seein in your grow. I see a little tip discoloration. Ive found that a dose of epsom salt to bump mag(micro nute) clears that up for me.

I do see that they are sufferin from heat/moisture stress. now you would think that they all would be showin the curl. been my exp. that some phenos react to the heat different than others. i get some signs of heat stress in all my grows.

just make sure your light is not to close, and if ya dont have a fan blowin across the tops of the plants you should get one. get the air circulatin. my plants look like there on the coast as they sway all over in the grow. helps strengthen the stalk, so those plants can handle those massive colas you are gonna produce.:D

one more note: read uncle bens leaf curlin sticky in sick plants forum over at OG.

i purchased a humidity fan today, it is the type used in bathrooms and kitchens. i am getting a friend to fit a plug to it so i can plug it into my 4way relay(the fan is 20w and cost £20). it says it does 93sq metres per hour so im sure it will be sufficiant to extract the hot air in my growroom. i will be putting it in my room this week and also turning my lights onto 12/12 to sex around the same time.

As long as you have proper circulation going on around them/on top they'll be fine. I had my 430 at around 6 inches on them with a big fan for exhaust on the reflector. I'd just flush them for a few days and add a fan if you dont already have one.

After lowering the nutrient levels for a few feeds i have turned the lights onto 12/12 after an average of 6 weeks veg.
They are all looking very healthy and one of the white rhino showed sex(female) nearly a week beforehand, the other(female) showing a few days later. i clipped the oxacan sativas, they are growing like wildfire.
I will post some photos within the next day or so.
peace

After 7 days of 12/12 nearly all plants have shown sex.
There are 3 female and 3 male b13 x bm (1 female being a straggler).
Both white rhino are female.
2 big bud are female. 1 is yet to show.
2 8k x g13 are female and 1 male. 1 yet to show(straggler)
2 oxacan sativas were male. 2 yet to show.
i am gonna give the oxacan sativas away if they are female, all males are being cut down.
i am gonna be giving a friend one of each of the strains to grow(B13xBM, white rhino, bigbud, 8KxG13). therefor i will be growing out the same number plus a straggler.
I am hoping to yield aroung the 9oz mark from this crop, hopefully alot more(this is my previous best yield) i am using 400w.
What yield should i be aiming for?
I will post some pics in a day or so when i have freed up some space in my room.
