I thought i would start a thread for people to post pics of plants in veg and discuss this vital stage which is often overlooked.
It would be nice to see such pics in order to give newer growers like myself an idea of how well my plants are doing.
I am currently day 21 from seed and am very concerned about there growth i would greatly appreciate any help (especially pics for comparrison), i have recently moved my set-up and am a little paranoid at the moment about them being stunted.
peace

Well let me see where to begin. I start out with 50% MG Potting mix, 25% Perlite, and 25% wormcastings. As soon as the seed pops, it goes into 3" square pots, and I only use a spray bottle to water them for the first few weeks. Time consuming, YES, but well worth it for their health, and it prevents overwatering. As soon as the roots fill out the pot, usually within 14 days, they get transplanted into a 5" square pots. By around the 3 or 4 week they are transplanted into 8" round pots, and can go up to a 3-1/2 gallon container depending on how many females I have. Usually around the 5th or 6th week, I start to feed. Remember, my potting mix is pretty rich and hot to begin with, and with the constant transplanting into fresh hot potting mix, I can delay the feeding until they are ready. If I was to add any ferts within the first 30 days, they would definitely get burnt. But always wait till the plants tell you they need feeding, usually they will get a little lighter in color. But usually anywhere between 6 to 8 weeks, I will begin flowering. But that's the vegging part for me.

>>>I should also note, they were started under a flo for 2 days, then they went straight under a 400wMH for about 3 weeks, and then were transfered under 2-400wHPS lamps.

I see a lot of green algae growing on top of your soil. Either you might be watering to much,
Or you got soil from your garden

Transplant to sterile soil with 40% perlite and use Nutrients. Water Until Top soil becomes DRY and you can stick your index finger in the soil and it comes out dry.

P.S.- You're not using bagseed right????

looks good to me.

Glad to see someone other than me keeping a growlog.

Tell me you mentioned that you transplant into 8" round pots. Do you flower in those? Also what is the plant size when you switch to 12/12? Just curious.

I'm thinking of switching from aeroponic to soil grows for my next run.
