I personally think anyone of them would turn you in if the had to. I purchased firewall software and pay for updates. I have paid for anonymous programs. I still don't feel secure, that's what sux the most. I am just dialup which kinda adds a smaller level of security because your ip changes everytime you connect. Paranoid of our own goverment, what a way to live.

Tor (free software that not only anomizer your signal, also encrypts it)... free.... simple... effective... http://tor.eff.org/ and Privoxy

edit: yup. KRS turned me on to it... i havent look back yet. works great.

Bartender knows whats up. Tor is the safest and most effective (not to mention trustworthy) system for this. It's triple-routed, encrypted between each random server, free, and open source.

i liked steganos internet anonym pro, it jumps between proxies it finds, nice program and gives good speed this way. i personally have moved on to a secure SSH tunnel i use from servers around the globe with no logs. monthly fee, but no one can see the data or get a real ip. helps me sleep better ;)
