as some of you know i have been doing a test grow of dave van pot's indica today i have some good and bad news........
bad news.....
the other day i had an unfortunate accident at home which compromised security to the MAX.........
I was sitting on the couch when i heard a large bang then a crash and then a very loud hissing noise,i got up and looked out the frnt door and they lay my air conditioner that was in the second flr window...ok so there's a hole in it and it's bleeding off the freon no prob i sat back down and this very loud hissing noise continued, then it dawned on me when i caught a whiff of gas,O NO i jumped up and out the door and to my dismay the conditioner had hit the gas meter and broke off the regulator...ah fuck......i cleared out my gf and her son ran down stairs and turned off the main power to the house ran out the back door called 911 on the cell and cleared out the neihbors on both sides.....as i walked around the back yard full of gas fumes and waited for the FD and LEO i was relizing the fact that i was busted and i mean red handed nothing you can do it's over...not really much you can do with a house full of gas..........
the fire dept got there in good time with LEO in tow they blocked off streets for a 2 blk radius in cass there was a boom,i was hoping for the best i figured that LEO would be cuffing me up as soon as the house was cleared i had already sent the gf and son in tow to wait for an all clear the FD said i had done the right thing and called for help now they were all walking around the hose taking readings up stairs and down but had yet to go all they way down to the basement the fire chief was cool and i was having a nice conversation about all of the excitement and then 1 of the crew asked where this door goes....O O ......basment was the reply and off he went he got to the bottom of the stairs and asked me if i could open a window "YOU BET BUDDY" so i did the request and he retreated upstairs with me right behind "whew" so far so good.......then it happened he went out to the truck got another meter and off to the basement he went,I'm now attached to his ass he wanted another window open because there was a high CO2 reading (50ppm)
as i tried to open a another window he was digging for a flashlight and off to the back room he went i peaked around the corner and to my dismay he was in the middle of of my grow.ARGHH.....i'm popped,i'm in shock, this is it,no where to run no where to hide time to stand up and take it like a man he went back upstairs and i went trailing with the knowledge that i was had no way out he went to a BR and came out and i was standing in the front room and i had to do i had to know "i asked him point blank well are you going to turn me in?" he fired back no hesitation "no.we were'nt called out here for that it's none of my business".......oh shit, shit, shit here it comes the delayed bust they'go back to the station house and he'll tell a good one to the boys and about midnight i'll be trucked off to for a nice long vacation.........i had to know with out pushing i asked him again and got the same answer i looked him dead in the eye and he did'nt move eye contact man to man"I told you we are not here for that and it's none of his business" i told him thyat it would be all gone with in an hr after they left,he said "he did'nt care" so it's been 3 days days now and i'm still looking over my shoulder and i'm clean as a whistle......i do have some last pics to put up but not now all my computers have been cleaned and re-formatted and i am not even on a secure line now but i wanted to to get this up before i really disapeared into the system........................ ................
I'll be back in a few days if still around but until then:

Holy Shit! That's my greatest fear. So much so I had my electrial system upgraded big time. I don't want to come home and find my plants in the driveway with leo standing around waiting. So sorry this happened to you. And I hope that you can resume operations in due time.

holy fucking shit!!! similar thing happened to me with my electricity. I have an old house with some really botched wiring, some wires burnt up and I lost power to my house. I had to do a full tear down and relocation of 24 girls to a friends house. Let me tell you there is no quick way to make 24 girls and a grow room disapear quickly. I had electricians roaming all over the place. They wanted to check all the rooms but that was not going to happen. They were cool about it. Thank god no LEO or FD were involved because nothing actually caught fire but holly shit I came real close. I had all my elec upgraded with 200amp service. That fireman is the shit, just there to do his job, not to bust a harmless grower, thats as american as apple pie.

Geez Buzzerd...you had to be pissin' yourself! I will be praying for your (and family's) safety and continued freedom. I must say, that I have utmost respect and admiration for firefighters. You can become a LEO because you like to bully people, or are on some power trip, but you don't become a firefighter unless you truly love people and want to help them. MG

It's fantastic you didnt get busted!! What a story!! But I gotta say, I'd drive a thousand miles to blaze up with ANYONE that is [i sat back down ]that fuckin cool!!
I mean can you just imagin, walking down the sidewalk, strolling along....round a corner, and see an air conditioner, FALLING outta second story window, and thru the downstairs window, a head pops up, looks around, see's the AC...shrugg's shoulder...and sits back down!! A classic!! Or I didnt understand it proper, hey I'm old.
It sounds like you did the responsible things start to finish mate. Asking the question must have been awkward to say the least. I take it the plants are now in a dumpster somewhere.

Karma to you my friend. Sit tight a while and take solace in the fact that you have done the right thing. It is admirable to take such responsiblity and deal with the situation at hand. Thanks for sharing your story. We will keep you in mind and know the best.
Stay safe.
Your fireman friend deserves a pat on the back and good karma to him as well.

That story made me shiver in my shoes, but it makes sense. They can't arrest you for something that wasn't called for. Its the same idea where if there was a murder in your house and they saw a pound of weed, they couldn't touch you for the weed until they got a search warrent. Be Safe

Kreat I dont think that this is true, What if it was reversed, and cops got called in for a big bag of weed, and suddenly there was a murder.
Would the charges be just for the weed????
I doubt it very much...

i dunno ronley...they seem to take the more serious offense and it trumps whatever else they find..."fruit of the poisonous tree" as it's called. my friend got shot in the chest for a half pound by some masked black men in a college apartment complex...they found the half pound in his uncompromised safe, and he got off scott free. logically at first you think, well they wouldnt have come if he wasnt slingin herb...but just because a girl dresses slutty it doesnt mean you can grab her ass...you know?

I"M back ladies and gents, believe me this whole f'n deal has been a real sobering experience and i thank all who have stopped by..............
all but one of the plants were bagged and tagged for disposal had to be done no if ands and butts about it i like my freedom, there has been no unusal activity from any agency in town (thank god) so far .i feel that if there was going to be it would have happened within the first 2 weeks ,let's face it i got damn lucky and and if i make it to the end of the month i feel the coast is clear and the FD will get a nice donaton for the kids at XMAS..............
KREAT ya got it wrong bro you let them in the house and it's open season
the things that stood out about this............
anything can happen at anytime
a decision had to made........and made NOW.......safety or tragedy i chose safety because there was neihbors and family involved and i took the chance of sacrificing myself over tragedy
if i had to do it again i would do it the same way ..except putting the ac in that window again
did I learn anything ? o hell yes i did you can't break dwn a grow room from the time you call 911 and hear the sirens coming ,and when the shit hits the fan remain calm and collected it's a 50-50 deal your gone or you have a horse shoe stuck up your butt
and i got lucky for the 1 time

im glad you & yours are ok buzzard ..you deffinently owe that firemen he might not know it but he saved a life that day & k+ for keeping your cool , spazzing out would of alerted others to the situation and he would of had to tell ...i once had a trooper transport me and a quarter pound 3 miles to my dad's house when my car broke down he had the slightest idea because i kept my cool ..he had to search me for weapons but seen no hostilatie in my actions so he did'nt even bother with my bag (put it in the trunk.. i'll drop you off at the entrence & you can walk back to your dads )..jah works in masterious ways for sure!!!

He could of said something and you's be in a lot of trouble right now.
But I believe what he said....... Had your Grow been the reason for the fire that would be different.
Had a guy running form the Cops run thru our backyard. Big commotion, Cops all over the yard and I'm in My Basement Grow. I look out the window and see a Dogs and a Cops feet Stopped infront. I know the Dog hit, even if not the Cop had to smell it..... wasn't that stealthy an Op.
Any way I hear the cop say, " Come on lets go."
Like saying to the dog, Yea but we're not here for that.
You learned some good lessons the biggest one being...... You never know what can happen to expose you.

Its reassuring to know that human decency does still exist eh....
Releived all is OK and no1 including yourself/your family and your neighbours, and that nobody was hurt.....you did the right thing, and deserve great kudos for both the calm way you handled it, AND FOR STEPPING UP ANDBEING WILLING TO TAKE A FALL TO ENSURE PPLS SAFETY.

maybe you could make a monetary donation if it was a volunteer fire dept. that might reinforce the firemans discretion, and encourage him that he did the right thing. at any rate i would write a letter of commendation for the individual to his chief, and say he needs more like him.

hey buzzard...ya definatley got the horseshoe up your ass. had to take a hit after reading your story...felt like i was in the damn house with ya..lol. anyway bro...dont worry so much anymore cuz the reality of it is this..if you were gonna get busted it woulda been on scene! the fireman was a cool mutha for not reporting or making a issue outta your plants there and then. they respond to so many calls a day that they have way better things to do than bust your balls.....im sure your a chuckle around the feed table with the guys occassionaly but thats it. the cops got better things to do too....had they seen it you were fucked....but they didnt and believe me when i tell ya...all the shit talked about american law...we do still have protections and its not as easy as people think to just call a judge and get a search warrant for next week lets say. dont work like that! they better have some serious evidence to get a warrant...not a story by a fireman a day later about possibly haven seen mj plants...as far as cops/judge concerned they coulda been pepper plants after story told. so rest easy my friend..no worries! you got a cool ass fireman that didnt bust your balls there and then. had he walked outside there and then and whispered in the cops ear...thats when you woulda got busted. im positive your ok my friend. maybe karma came rite back at ya for acting honorably and thinking about family and neighbors instead of yourself at the moment. peace G. :joint:

What an ordeal. You're on of the good ones. For putting other's safety before your own freedom you ought to feel proud. You did the right thing!
On a related topic, I was doing some digging and we hit a gas line. The gas co had to inspect since there was visible damage(very minor scraping) but no damage or leak. The gas guy told me there's really very little risk of explosion from a gas line break as the pressures they run are too high and the air gas mix isn't right. Said something like the pressure of he gas might actually extinguish any immediate flames. Sounds good but it's still quite scary. Anybody know any more on this?

You dodged a major bullet. I suggest you shut down for a least a year until you become very old news. Good Luck and be patient.
