I have all my beans in original packs, kept together in a large envelope, in my stash bag, in my basement.
Cool, dark, and undisturbed.
Like my first girlfriend.
Hell, I don't even touch the beans if I'm not gonna plant 'em. I shake out singles to plant.

I've read somewhere on this board that keeping them in the fridge is not such a great idea due to humidity within the fridge. I'm sure they'll be just fine kept in a container and out of light in a cool place.

I put some seeds in the freezer (cause I'm an idiot and thought thats what everybody else does) and when I went to germinate them they were ruined. Only two seeds, but they were Rez seeds so it was some good genetics down the drain.

also use a pill jar and dark storage place, with no heavy temp variations.

I keep them in original packages/zip bags sorted in some small thermoinsulating bags with lots of sillica gel. All small thermoinsulating bags go in a bigger one and that goes in a cool, dry, dark place with almost no temp variations. I have no problem keeping seeds over 2-3 years and still have almost perfect germ rates with them. never tried to put them in the freezer or fridge.

fridge in the low humidity drawer in a tupperware.
light proof is not necessary because it's dark in there once you close the door.
cooling seeds before germination simulates winter and thaw, especially effective on more indica varieties that "expect" a seasonal change.
