what are some good ways to quiet a cab to dampen the sound of a fan? I thought I remember a thread on here that showed some thin foam designed to insulate against noise you could line your cab with. Was fire resistant too if I remember correctly. I guess the other source of noise with a fan is the exhaust, how do I quiet that?

i would venture to say insulated ducting should quite the whislting noise of sir moving through. a speed controler so you can slow down the fan kinda like a light dimmer both available fromlocal hydro shop at a fair price. 6inch ducting is like 25$ for 25ft i think dimmer switch is same price.

if your experincing virbration kinda noise maybe mount fan on rubber gasket or hang fan with strong bungi cord . both of these methods reduce vibration
