Male or Female?

gee- looks like a leaf tip sprout to me. i don't see any pistils but no balls either. 5 weeks ago i went thru the same thing, down on my knees with a jewelers loupe trying to figure if the nub was male, female, or just another leaf.

still looks a tad early give it another wk ya should know by then where the leaf stem meets the main stem of plant. this is the internode in this junction you'll find preflowers normally 6th node and above. female will look like a small pear shape when it matures pair of white hairs protrude from it. male will look like a small stripe ball at 1st then he'll start to look like a claw when it grows some. when it matures he will group balls together an grow a stick for them to group on.

currently i have a isolate male he was in flower for 14 days yesterday i removed him today he's spewn pollen i can hand harvest for selective breeding :)

ya this is the best shot i could find close up before i got it my friend said it had white hairs on it little ones
