Well crew the last run was great but we came up a little short, so what do we do? We plant more seeds. This time around I’m going to try my hand at a SOG grow. In the pics below you will see 21 total plants as compared to 16 the last try so with what we missed it by the last time I know success is in the cards for July 4th weekend.
Before being topped day 1 of 400 watt Hortilux Blue:

This evening after being topped:

These were kept under a 125 watt Floro with 24/7 lighting and I like the results:

Now here's the thing, Some you see with markers, those are nlxbb clones I have about 14 others that well lets just say I got suprised by my six year old Nancy Drew and I had a choice of ditching the goods and not getting caught or getting caught and sitting down at 3 in the morning and talking about daddy's flowers on a school night. I Ditched The Goods. Once they develop I would hope the experts here can help me determine the diffrence between a possibility of Ak-47,Cinderella 99,White Whidow and there is one other I sprouted but I'm to damn tired right now to remember.
Went back to the office after about 6-8 months of r and r and I now must say WORK SUCKS. I think more and more every day of selling everything moving to the hills and growing tree's for a hobby :biglaugh: Anyway I'm using the normal Pure Blend run only this time but have been adding the Silica Blast and must say it helps a bunch. Ok you sog folks help me here please, last time I flipped between 10 -12 inches no topping and went 3-4 inches to tall for BOB. This time I've topped once and they are at 6-8 inches now how will a SOG Grow grow out or up and since they took to topping so well the first time should I do it again? This I promise will be a fun one and I got something really special planned for the summer or early fall. Oh and TEX I want my masters. :biglaugh:

Howdy MrWags, this should be good. I know what you mean about running to the hills! I went back to work myself today after 2 weeks off, it sucked. Oh well could be worse!

Plant count is not the problem and you may actually go the other way.
Dial in your setup on 18-20 plants max on the 3x3 table. The elbow will not be as elusive as you think. Veg them longer as well, you should be in the roughly a QP a plant real quick. My NLK can jam 3.5-4 oz's with as lttle as 40 days veg.
The more you can tune it to a single strain or similar growth characteristics the better (look at HOG) output potiential.
Lookin at my ladies this morning, I think I will be at 1.5-2lbs dried and jarred under 1200watts in my 3x3, no co2 but it's on the way.

Here are some quick shot of the progress on Bob's spring run. I have found with the Ready Grow mix I water much less as Tex has stated in his earlier grow, I'm at a 10 minute flood 1 hour after lights are on an a 5 minute flood just before lights out. I'm using a 365 gallon pond pump to flood a 2x4 tray so it fills quickly. PPM are currently at 1200 and never went above 1500 my last grow with great results.

I've been able to identify 2 more plants to be c-99's. The nlxbb clone's are the tall one's and rotated today to try to get the others to catch up. Looks like I might become a mass murderer here soon and start bending necks but time will tell.

I must say I believe SOG is the way to go for BOB. The growth rate since overall is amazing. Most that are left are all Female Seeds NLxBB I got one c99 that stayed fem (so far anyway) but not to be one to look gift horse in the mouth I got me some Bio Bizz Top Max on the way if Tex uses it It's gotta work. I fell flipping at 8 inches is going to be about perfect on the height when done. Hope everybody has fun at the cup and COMES HOME SAFE. Let's not go on vacation and come back on probation. :biglaugh: :friends:

no co2 but it's on the way...
Tex
Nice! Ditto bro, im thinkin of gettin a CO2 setup up and runnin. I finally got my 600watter on a lightmover, and next up is raising the floor to accomdate larger veggin plants... After that tweak, its off to the welding store to get a jump start on a co2 setup.
Does anyone know the intervals and the lengths of each interval to run co2? Like every 3 hrs for 15 min?
take care,

I run mine for 1 1/2 minute ever 3 hours with light on. I'm only filling a 4x2x4 box and this rate does fine. You will love the benefits co2 rocks. Good luck and if you need anything Were here bartender, for you anytime sir.

I ended up with 6 full bottom plants that I had to hang upside down in BOB that is twice as much as the last run and I must say the smell of all of these girls out in the open filled my room rather quickly with that sweet sweet smell of good ole fine ass home grown. :yummy:
Just wait until you folks see what I got coming up next run.
