I've been growing on and off for many, MANY years now and just experienced my first hermie. At least the first I was ever aware of. I'm guessing this was caused by heat stress early in veg.

I had 7 plants and the lone male showed its gender first. A few days later the rest proved to be females, with the exception of one I just wasn't sure of. Looked like male preflowers, but a couple of days later it started showing white hairs. I decided it was a late-showing female and forgot about it. A few days later I thought I'd take a look at those preflowers I had a hunch were male, and sure enough there were two little bananas there (actually more like footballs, since they were just getting started), one at each leaf joint. I pulled them off and again forgot about it. Now 3 weeks into 12/12 I decided to do another closer examination of this plant and found four more little male flowers which I promptly plucked off. I checked the whole plant and that's all I found.

So that's a total of 6 individual male flowers on an otherwise very nice looking female. Should I be worried? Are more male flowers likely to appear? If they do and I pull them off, will it affect the plant?

Sometimes that's all they do. You did the right thing. Keep a good eye out.

lol, heat stress in early veg?

sorry but narrowing it down to something so particular made me giggle.

I am not being a jerk, or not trying to.

That plant was prolly gonna go hermi no matter what you did bro, don't blame it on some random detail of veg when no other plant is hermi.

Just my opinion.
