Trichs look like claws?

Do trichomes start out looking like mushrooms? I checked my trichs, and they look more like little claws

Alright cool. I just wanted to know it was normal. Im starting to see little white crystals on the leaves. Makes me all excited. If there arnt even heads yet, I cant wait to see what it will look like when the heads do form
