There so much CRAP about the end of the world in 2012, it makes me sick.. the movie 2012 even has a website tricking people to believe that the world will end. SO who among you thinks the world will end in 2012?

im sick of it too. its just replay of y2k...after 2012 there will just be another day of DOOM!
even the 2012 people cant agree on what exactly it is that s going to happen...nibiru, elohim returning, sun devouring us with flames, pole shift, changes to dna, stripping of physical form return to spirit whatever.

i dont know why but i have a feeling the mayan calender ends for a reason.....
i don't think it will end. that isn't to say that the thought or possibility doesn't cross my mind every once in a while, given current events and the general state of things these days. the fact that it seems to only be deteriorating instead of getting better doesn't help my outlook much, either.
however i do realize that as a human being i am prone to irrational thought, and there are plenty of examples in history (not just recent) where a particular generation thought the end of the world was imminent (typically happens after a pinnacle of civilization, on a downturn).
in any case, i don't rule ANYTHING out as 'impossible', so better to be safe than sorry. assuming that whatever the apocalyptic scenario might be, we have somewhat of a chance of survival whatsoever (ie, end of the world as we know it), i have about 1000 rounds of ammo stockpiled, and i'll be purchasing some simple and cheap equipment to increase my odds in case of such a scenario
until then, live your life, be happy, worry about what you got going on TODAY

Me too. Probably because they didn't plan that far, maybe they hit the joint and said "Fuck it we went far enough", maybe it was just meant to be reset. Doesnt mean the world is going to end.

you guys know the supervolcano in the middle of the USA?? last time it exploded it fucked up the whole north america.. and its due to erupt again sometime in the next 1000 years.. maybe that could block out the sun or something.

In my more rebellious days I used to talk to my mom about how I thought the world would be over. "Why should I go to college, the worlds gonna be over when i'm 30 anyway!"

I don't think the world will end. I am a big believer in Sylvia Brown, psychic. She makes prophecies past 2012. Gives me comfort anyway....
I agree, im sure the worlds not going to end, but some major things are, they say polar shift *big time storms* magnetic sun storms *bye bye ozone and half the earth
* and the planets stop rotating during a solar alignment * one half the world frozen the other burning hot?* along with ninibu which is suppose to fly by and its gigantic gravity factor will like rip the earth into a gigantic spin or cause an increase in gravity
If we keep up the current political bullshit, the world could very well end soon. May be a metaphor for a social meltdown. Total anarchy.

the world isnt going to end in 2012.. From every angle, were are totally safe.. Im more worried about the big one thats expected to hit my state in the next 30 yrs..
It doesn't end, its cyclical, when the last cycle ends it transitions back to the first again. Its not a linear calendar.
