Whip hash

My vaporbrothers whip is amazing for a plethora of reasons, one being my recent discovery that collecting the material on the inside of the whip makes some type of homemade hash. You can smoke this or vape it again and is quite potent. Just a little heads up and yes, I know this isn't "technically" hash but it's an economical use of the material.

Big difference between vape resin or what ever you want to call it and say scraping a pipe. Vape resin is pretty potent and for the most part is just vapor that has condensated in the whip.

I use to love pulling the red hot air extracted oil from the vriptech bowl stem. It always came out this lovely cherry colour.
I then got myself a volatizer ( after meeting the company owner back in 02 ), the volatizer came with a quartz crystal bowl, as appose to the glass bowl that the vriptech came with. I noticed right away that when the oil condensed into the quartz bowl, it wasnt red, but a very clear oil.
Not sure if anyone else has had this but figured i would toss it up for discussion.

REd condenses hot air extracted oil, vs clear ? anyone?

Yes englishrick, basicaly recondensed vapor that turns into an oil.
I never smoked bho, but i can say that the oil i use to remove from those glass bowls was like bubble sweat.
very enjoyable.

the bud that is left over from a vape is what alot of medical people call "3am weed". since vaping it boils the thc at the right temp you leave other chemicals still in the bud that dont evaportate, like cbd and others. for this reason the pot left over, usually brown or black, isnt very potent and provides a very narcotic smoke that you need to light (unless you let the vapor condense which imo would be a waste). people smoke it at night when they wake up in the middle of the night w/ sleeping problems. a couple hits of 3am weed and you pass right back out. almost like having two uses out of the same amount.

I've heard nothing but good reviews for the Vapor Brothers whip style vape, but I'm wondering if you can vape oil and hash out of it, or if I will need to buy some sort of special screen, like with the Volcano?

the only vape that I feel actually did the job with hash was the volcano. Tried it with vapor bro and it melted through the screen. Hot knife still the best though

this is very interesting...

i had this idea a long time ago too,,,,,i usaly do QwIso, bho seems better because its a non-polar solvent......but condensed vapor resin sounds like the best...

have you developed a simple soloution to colecting the recondensed vapor as a resin?...

I have the hand free vapor warez style whip vaporizer. I don't have to use a stirrer and can tap the side to mix the bud up. Because of this, very few bud particles fall past the screen. Instead, my whip and tubing will accumulate a thick layer of oily looking goo.

I used to scrape the glass part, but there would always remain a lot of residue and there would be a lot in the hose. I found that putting 10ml of rubbing alcohol in the whip and then putting your fingers on both ends and shaking rapidly will dissolve the oil. It may take a few minutes of shaking, but most should dissolve. I then take a coffee filter and pour the contents of the tube into it. After the liquid is filtered, I let the alcohol evaporate (usually using steam to heat it) and I am left with a clear slightly liquidy oil.

That was the only oil I had for years. Just recently I started making QWISO and BHO which I would rate very similar to the oil from my whip. All is good in the game of oil Had my nite cap and ready for bed.

i want to recover the resin without any solvent`s...an i dont want to smoke the vapor itself...i want all the vapor condenced into resin

Hash, no it's too dense but kief works real well. I put a fine 120 micron screen in my silver surfer vape and vaped oil quite a bit without problems of it dripping through
