Flowering with Daylight bulb?

Anyone tried this? i read that using dayligh bulb in flowering would leave buds little bit smaller than using warmwhite bulb. anyone have any experience about this? just bought 85w daylight cfl, i'm now veggin, and tought that maybe i could just make the whole thing with this bulb. What do you think about it?

I just want to know how much this daylight bulb is lowering my yield or do i just get some popcorn bud...

You could try it.. but if it doesn't work out well you've wasted a lot of time and energy.

You can do it since many people have flowered with MH bulbs which produce a similar light spectrum to daylight bulbs

Why not just buy a couple of 23w 2700k CFLs to supplent your daylight bulb since 1 85w daylight bulb is not enough I think to flower and produce good bud

yea maybe i will buy couple of those 2700k cfl, just have to build some kind of frame if i'm using more than 1 bulb couse i'm now trying tubular scrog/v-scrog grow, so more bulbs=more work...

I'm in total agreement; for CFL's, mix the spectrum a bit during veg. The cost is minimal and the effort will be worth it.

I've flowered with 4x 12w Daylight bulbs before. It works, not as well as it could, but it works. Good luck and don't listen to "them". "They" said I was crazy, too. No worries.
