Thank you, Both you and PassTheDoobie recommended this site. I will study it. Yes I have decided I need to be more vocal in my stance. We can learn and teach through love.

"Buddhism is concerned with winning. This is a point that Nichiren Daishonin made emphatically clear. The law of cause and effect operating within our lives is very strict. We cannot fool ourselves; we know in our hearts when we have won or when we have given in to defeat. Those who win through faith plant the cause to attain Buddhahood deep within their beings. When we earnestly challenge ourselves and are able to declare with all our hearts, 'I have won!' the tremendous good fortune we gain as a result will adorn our lives eternally. This is the life-state, the strength, and the life-force of a Buddha.

"Those who succumb to self-defeat cannot accumulate good fortune. They create the cause to feel regret in their lives. That is why it's so important to win, to triumph in our lives. That is the direct way to experience the true power of Buddhahood within us. There is no greater joy than this."

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The essence of our faith is manifested in our daily actions. And the
substance of our Buddhist practise lies in enjoying the trust and friendship
of our close neighbours. Our goal is to realise a peaceful and prosperous
society through spreading the philosophy and ideals of Nichiren Daishonin's
Buddhism. It is not something abstract or distant, but starts with concrete
efforts where we are right now."

Whats up my friends?!

Whats up my friends?!

"The same is true of your attaining Buddhahood. No matter what grave offenses you might have committed, because you did not turn against the Lotus Sutra, but showed your devotion by accompanying me, you will surely become a Buddha. Yours is like the case of King Possessor of Virtue, who gave his life to save the monk Realization of Virtue and became Shakyamuni Buddha. Faith in the Lotus Sutra acts as a prayer [to attain Buddhahood]. Strengthen your resolve to seek the way all the more and achieve Buddhahood in this lifetime."

"However great the good causes one may make, or even if one reads and copies the entirety of the Lotus Sutra a thousand or ten thousand times, or attains the way of perceiving three thousand realms in a single moment of life, if one fails to denounce the enemies of the Lotus Sutra, it will be impossible to attain the way."

The Daishonin states,
"Where there is unseen virtue, there will be visible reward."*
There is absolutely no such thing as waste in any of our
efforts or struggles for the sake of kosen-rufu.
It is certain that those who continue to make an effort,
even if their efforts are not recognised by others,
will definitely accumulate boundless good fortune and
benefit in their lives.

How long does a lifetime last? If one stops to consider, it is like a single night's lodging at a wayside inn. Should one forget that fact and seek some measure of worldly fame and profit? Though you may gain them, they will be mere prosperity in a dream, a delight scarcely to be prized. You would do better simply to leave such matters to the karma formed in your previous existences.

Questions and Answers about Embracing the Lotus Sutra

To achieve Happiness. First you must do an honest inventory of yourself. Then you must envision your life in its happiest form. You must set goals to achieve that, and work to achieve them. Finally avoid doing things that are a distraction or deterrent from reaching those goals.

Good morning friends

En, you can condense that statement to "Nam-myoho-renge-kyo!" Have you been still chanting throughout the last few months? Hope all is well!

The one essential phrase "Nam-myoho-renge-kyo!" more powerful and effective than any plan I've conjured up in my life. It truly works!!!

Be good!

enlightenment: everywhere i looked, in every "logic" that seemed logical to me, i never found the answear, in the end it was always just: don't get distracted on the path to your true goals." it's always easy to forget for me, either in bad or in good times. i recently found out that a lot of people think the same way, and they admit the lack of consistancy in their success, lack of always having the guts to do the right thing. because i really don't like the massive ups and downs i need to take action, i want to have control over my life - Nam- Myoho - Renge - Kyo - is always there for me to use it. knowing that i can always take action no matter how bad it is..that's awsome, i mean there's never the right time to stop taking action, no matter how you do it!

deepest respect to all of you!

EMD, True True. Yes I have been practicing every day, But I think it has only been a week to two seance I first posted and started chanting. Things are going very good for me I am very happy in my life rite now.
