Very Nice Jack!!! I agree with you on the smaller plants bigger buds theory.I get the best results with plants 6-8 ft and WIDE.Any taller and it can be a nightmare with breakage.I want my plants to be hardy enough to support their own weight etc.I used to want them as big as I could get them..no longer.Last years grow was incredible too..congrats..and good luck with the termites.Seems you'll have to treat the problem area after harvest..Lets just hope the termite nest is in your yard and not your neighbors.Although I'm guessing you have a pretty cool relationship with your neighbors..peace
yes, each yr,i no i can grow huge,,but problem is like u say..lots of worries,,breakage,to way small stems to manacure,to many, just to many worries,,i do want to try to grow normal size plants to see ok and huge buds,,but i just cant sem to do that,,it is so much work for one person to do all i do,,but i do it,,thanks for a new word i,ve been looking for when i show my grow,,,(theary)i have tons of thearies on growing, they all seem to come to heads, like i know what i do is ok,and still learning,,this old dog can be tought new tricks,,thats why i need to grow small again,,i hate to spider web my tree, especially when harvesting it,i get cought up in my own traps,,,and i do have great and kool neighbors,,i never thought about termite nests tho,,from the neighbors i guess i should spray after harvest and few before harvest,,cuz i really really dont use much chem after i plant a few months,,thats why i like to preventive maint, way before i start to grow, like dust and spray weeks and even months before i plant,,,but again, each yr is different, and i just hope to learn from this grow to put on a better green show,,,,,,,,,,,jack

Wow Termites.

I thought "here's something I've not encountered yet" and looked them up and images popped up of the lil fookers that are eating one of my citrus trees.

So I need to learn about em too...

Here's the kicker - they eat wood and leaf mulch...

So the mulch giveth, and it taketh away....

I thought "ahah! - I'll put fungi in the mulch to compete for the food source!"... then I find they have fungal gut enzymes, and some species, like ants, actually farm fungi, so adding fungi just helps make their food more palatable...

Still reading. Cheering for your plant from the sidelines here, I'm a fan.

Could get the rocks I mentioned earlier, and for a double whammy, use them as a thermal sink, and drop them on the termites

"Baits (feeder stations) with small quantities of disruptive insect hormones or other very slow acting toxins have become the preferred least-toxic management tool in most western countries"

or...

You being a marine and all, you can just harden up and eat em...

"The alates are nutritious, having a good store of fat and protein, and are palatable in most species with a nutty flavour when cooked. They are easily gathered at the beginning of the rainy season in Central and Southern Africa when they swarm, as they are attracted to lights and can be gathered up when they land on nets put up around a lamp. The wings are shed and can be removed by a technique similar to winnowing. They are best gently roasted on a hot plate or lightly fried until slightly crisp; oil is not usually needed since their bodies are naturally high in oil. " :rasta:

i try not to do or use anything, even watering, last few weeks, unless i see it needs be,,and these need be not a thing, and i dont like to use anything after they start to flower, only to ensure proppper flavor and taste and what nots, last resorts are needed so late in grow really can suck sometimes,,,that is why i try to prepare soil soon after i harvest and maintaine propper solls till i plant again,,seems to work most all the times,,except termite this late in grow, but huge stalks and stems didnt help

I want a cannabis walking stick!!!!! I have a collection of weird burlwood & gnarly walking sticks I pick from the woods, I found a perfectly straight ash stick in a swamp and it was stripped of bark and bleached white like bone.

Can you get a pic of your hemp sticks?

A cannabis plant so big you can cut it with a chainsaw and it gets termites in the trunk!

Took me the same amount of time it would have to read a properly punctuated paragraph. Maybe you didnt know but your new to growing and im sure he doesnt need to hear that you think he is a good grower especially when it comes along with a degrading comment like yours. You dont know what this man has been through but just from reading this i gathered he is an adult retired vet. I dont think he needs an ego boost from Mr. Howtorollabluntherightway styles p. Lastly "i wasnt trying to be funny" your right just a sarcastic asshole.
