Harvested like that? I don't see 7g. I don't know how much more it fattened up by the time you harvested, but I could see 7g coming from it. Take a look at hempybucquet's plants, almost chop time not getting any bigger, and tell me if you see 7g?

I'm pretty good at guessing weight by eye based on bud & plant structure, especially on a small scale (single cola, single nug, single small plant, etc).

Nice grow, and I'm glad you got there.

Sorry if I missed it, but are those SB's the ERSB or something else?

I think that is its base strain. I got the beans from Highgrade seeds. The description of pineapple and vanilla smell, sativa headie high fits ESRB so perhaps its their cross.

How are you weighing? Trimmed, main stem removed, dry? I'm not calling you a liar, but I'm having a hard time seeing 7-10 grams on any plant from:

Like this...
These are the nugs from the plant below.

After a week drying, I just put them in the jar at 17G. They are pretty dry but not cripsy, so guessing they will finish out around 12g.

They smoke really sweet, fruity and smooth right now, looking forward to the taste a month from now. :rasta:

Look dude! he said from the "plant" and showed a pic of the plant not plants meaning he got 17g while almost dry so will most likely be at 12g when completely dry.. I know CT it's hard for you to wrap your little brain around that people can get what DrBud says you can if you follow his steps... amazing isn't it?

No, he said the nugs pictured came from the plant... and kinda-sorta implied that those nugs weighed 17g, but I'm not buying it unless they were made out of lead. Which is why I'm asking.

how tall is your flowering cab?
aj

I have a maximum of 30", but these Superbud clones are finishing at 14" or sell so I have it set up a lot higher. Trying to keep the CFL just a few inches from the canopy.

shit.. now i have to decide.. keep my flowering cab down to 22" ish and have a veg cab in the same box.. or go a bit bigger on the flowering cab, have seperate veg box, and waste space in flower cab.. bah

but I'm not buying it

Good, because they are not for sale. :muahaha: :joint: :rasta:

That was the harvest from one plant. The next group needs a week or so more before they get chopped. Bulking up the crystals now.

FWIW, A reptilite UV CFL (26w I think) really increases the frost production for me. Added it to the mix and within a week see a massive increase in trichomes. You have to be a bit careful as plants sitting right under it will show signs of leaf stress after a day or two. I just keep them in rotation and they are just fine.

wow those must be some dense nuggets, i am impartial to this issue and am hoping you can get good yields from the small container plants(i want to try the same under a 150w hps) but i hate to say to the eye that doesn't look like 17 or 12 grams and thats just an honest opinion. i'm not saying they aren't cause only the beholder knows, and it is also hard to tell without something in the image for scale purposes. i do believe it does look like at least 7 though which is plenty fine imo for small container. please don't take this the wrong way, i am not trying to cause problems with this method as others seem to.

wow those must be some dense nuggets,

They are very dense and loaded with gooey resin. This is the first Sativa I have grown, and its totally different from anything I have had in the past. The stems are totally dry and crack when bent, but the buds stay soft and rubbery like a properly hydrated cigar. They are loaded with really soft resin, it smears on the side of the jar where they touch it, and is all over your hands if you touch them. Gooey like corn syrup, not hard and sticky like pine sap. When you take off the external trichomes with a solvent to make tincture, the plant material has plenty of goodies left in the sap to vape. The high is super clear headed & happy, supercharged to do something active. NOT an evening toke if you have any interest in sleep.

Here is the marketing blurb from the breeder...

"30% Indica - 70% Sativa
# Indoor/Outdoor

Super Bud has the vigour of a race horse, a yield that will blow the socks off any grower and a super sativa buzz of the highest caliber that is powerful & long lasting. This strain is a fast grower and ends with stem-breaking sized colas of some of the best connoisseur bud.

Super Bud ladies produce MASSIVE amounts of THC-rich amber resin - the highest of any strain. Strong berry/fruit smell and taste. Unparalleled sativa high!"

So, would you say it's super?

For me, these two strains are like tasting a single malt scotch after years of drinking rotgot.

Makes me excited to see what other great strains are out there! :rasta:

BTW, what's your curing method... where you lose 30% weight during cure? Sounds like you didn't dry it enough?
