UK Cheese (Exodus) Grow

thanks for stopping by guys, got a Q for those fimiliar with the Cheese - what sort of height do you let it get in veg before changing to flower?, the Chemdawg D x OG Kush are ready to go into the flowering stage from tomorrow but with the cheese still being quite young i was thinking when the 12 hours of HPS goes off for the CD x OG K just move the clone under the flouros for the other 6 hours to keep it in veg then when the HPS light comes back on after the 12 hours dark just move the clone back under the HPS?, i think i'm gonna invest in another light sometime soon for keeping a mum plant, was thinking either a 250w HPS or maybe an Envirolite?. I've spotted a real nice side branch to take the 1st clone from her as well , time to dig out the clonex later tonight, really happy how she's growing so far, seems to be loving the HPS at the minute, no smells from her at this early stage, looks really innocent as well considering the smell she's gonna put out in a few weeks

thanks for looking in , good luck with your upcoming Cheese grow as well music , i remember seeing pics of Heaths Black Rose a while back, that looks like an awesome strain man, have you had the chance to grow that before?

gonna transplant the clone into her final size pot later tonight, couldn't decide wheather to go 6.5 litre or 11 litre, i've got a huge 30 litre pot in the house from my 1st grow (Orange Bud, turned into a 7 foot monster) but i think that may be too big? so i'm gonna go for the 11 litre this time n see how it goes, not much aroma at this stage but i'm guessing it's not too far away now

Hi Farmer,
she's been in this 11 litre pot for 6 days now, i think i'm gonna put her into flower pretty soon as i'm noticing nice thick roots emerging from the holes at the bottom of the pot already, really fast root growth . I took another 3 cuttings last night - 2 from the top of the plant, this has levelled out the canopy of the clone alot better, more bud sites/shoots at the same level now, and the 3rd clone from a branch near the bottom, that's 4 clones in total i've taken already ( the 1st 1 was approx 8 days ago), fingers crossed they root ok and i'll be able to turn a couple of those into mother plants , got them in the propagator with a couple of clones from a pheno of Chem D x OG Kush/Af, the smell from the stalk and leaf blades of this particular pheno smell like pure diesel so i just had to take cuts incase it's a good sign , here's a pic from today of the main Cheese clone, currently 10 inches tall, what do you guys reckon - veg for longer? or put this girl in flower?

Veg more, then top more, then veg another week before flower, then trim the lower growth...

Chomas.. Coming from someone who grew both ECSD and Cheese... Cheese is stinkier. ECSD has more of a skunky aroma to it but Cheese straight up Reeks in every sense of the word.

Cheese is the tastiest, stinkiest herb around

Having never grown the ECSD, i cant pass comment...but, the Cheese is the stinkiest thing ive ever encountered in all my years on this earth...some may say i havent encountered much, butive never had anything so small, smell so big.

Looking forward to new pics, nice work man...she looks mega healthy!!

Veg longer, she wont stretch like mad...and if she does, just tie her down to herself...or a H-shape of 2 and a half canes, tie her to the cross-beam..

howz it going bro?, i've put this girl into flowering (couldn't wait any longer man, i'm too excited to try a Cheese nug for the 1st time ), the 1st cutting that i took from the main clone rooted a few days ago and has since been potted up into a 4 inch pot, and is currently under flouros, the other 3 are still in the propagator, i think they'll be rooted within the next couple of days (fingers crossed), i'll turn 2 of the new clones into mother plants and with the other 2 left i'll give them a longer veg than the main clone , hopefully the gallary prob gets fixed soon and i'll be able to get the diary back up to date

It stinks more than anything....! I have what was called "The Original Cheese," my leaves are thinner, but the structure is similar.

Who knows...

Anyways, we have decided that it is better as an outdoor (Greenhouse or Terrace) plant. Indoors, it is amazingly fragrant, and great, but very sensitive to heat, and MITES LOVE IT. I imagine it tastes great.

The roots are the strongest part... Like super-roots... Such vigour.

Sitting next to Orig. Chemdog... Which is Very smelly, Fuel-ly, terribly skunky on its own... I smell mostly cheese. In October, this yard is like sweet gorgonzola. I am getting hungry... And the hasj...! Oh Man Alive, no trim wasted....

Locals love this cut.

i believe this is the real Cheese (Exodus Cut) that i have , the crew that blessed me with the cut have the real deal , fast root growth but it grows slow (height wise) in veg, your right about the mite magnet man, i've had to battle them twice now, the only time i've ever had probs with mites has been with the Cheese, i suppose it's like the pleasure/pain theory - go through the pain of the mites when growing it but rewarded with the pleasure at the end with those awesome nugs , if you've got any pics of your cheese feel free to post them up bro, the more cheese pics the better , these set of pics were from 6 days ago (just getting the diary back up to date, up to date pics to follow either later tonight or tomorrow

Hi all,
is anyone else still having probs with pics dissapearing/replacing in their Gallery/grow threads? (notice pics from my other diary replaced up above^^?)

Now on day 10 of 12/12, the only nutes giving so far was 1ml Grow on the last watering, gonna start with the bloom nutes from the next watering, but i think i'm gonna take it easy with the nutes since it's the 1st run with the Cheese to see how it goes

Grown both many times, there is no contest, Cheese is the stinkiest MOFO I have ever encountered by a long stretch. ECSD is stronger smoke, almost "too strong" but Cheese is way stinkier. The resin on my outdoor Cheese's primary calyx's alone stinks out the rest of my whole garden. ECSD is sitting next to her BTW.... I could take a pic, but worry the smell would manage to permeate the net.

My Cheesemeister friend has a 3 filter system to beat the stink.

1. A Dump fan, from under the table, cool air goes through the filter, chucked up onto the plants for air movement and first line de cheesing.

2/3 Exhaust fan... Phat filters work better than any [available in the UK] carbon filters, allegedly the only make not to use second hand medical carbon......and an Odour Sock, a half good carbon sock type filter, stick the Phat filter upstream of the fan, the sock over the exhaust, job done, filtered both sides of the fan, good for 3 or 4 crops.

Aroma is starting to get stronger in the grow room now, pretty sure the stink must be coming from the Cheese because the smell in there is like walking into a sweaty gym changing room holding a cup of creamy coffee, like a mixture between the 2, last feed was 1ml Grow + 1ml Bloom, no trichs have appeared so far

she's really starting to stink now man (i think it's the cheese that's putting out the strong smell anyway, CDxOG is on day 40 of flower, this cheese is on day 26 of flower), every time i go in the grow room it smells like creamy coffee type musk smell

the compost i'm using this time was bought at my local grow shop, it's in a gold bag/sack, on the side/near top it's printed 'special mix', not sure what exactly is all in it but really happy with the stuff so far

Now on day 26, resin is starting to build quite rapidly now, last feeding i gave 0.8ml Grow + 1.5ml Bloom, i was gonna start using Topmax from my last feed but when i went to get the bottle, had a sniff just to make sure it was still smelling fresh enough and i could tell right away it had went off , didn't realise Topmax had such a short shelf life as i only bought that bottle around 7 months ago, no worries tho as the Grow + Bloom on it's own will still do fine, i had more pics to upload but i seem to be having probs in my gallery when i sometimes upload, now and again it will replace an older pic either in that thread or in 1 of my other grow threads, so i've lost over 20 pics in my gallary which i can't understand because i've only used about 10% of my available space in there
